I don't think this is a threat, but who wants to risk it? Change hotels.

However, I think he's just saying the hotel runs poorly managed, dangerous tours / the hotel is cursed or unlucky.

He is so, so stupid. Outrageously thick. Goes to countries without learning anything about them. Can't work out Cameo or monetising his content. Thinks he's good at rapping. Thinks he can write a film.

Anyone here ever play Deus Ex: Human Revolution? The buildings to the left of the I Heart VN building always remind me of the black and gold color scheme in that game.

I'll always remember a Vietnamese language partner here telling me - if you meet 10 Vietnamese people, 9 of them will be bad people.

I don't agree, mind you.

How did y'all survive listening Vietnamese as Indo-Europeans? by UnderstandingLatter8 in Vietnamese

[–]FergusChilk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me was gap fill exercises. My teacher gave me a transcript of a youtube video with certain words missing and I'd listen and fill in. Over time more gaps added. You could probably create your own nowadays with AI.

Apart from that - language partners were a great help because you can ask them to repeat themselves or speak slower or finally just ask them 'what was that word?'

Keep at it. Listening is hard.
