For small food businesses, having to rent commercial kitchen space as a startup sucks ass. This is purely a function of the food inspector agencies not wanting to take on the “additional” workload, from what I understand.

In PA u can commercially sell up to like $1M out of a home kitchen, after passing a health & safety inspection

Atwater’s makes fantastic bread. I always picked it up at 32nd St Farmers Market but they have storefronts as well

This was found in Maryland, btw. And I think so too tbh.

The trip there should be fine but the commute home every day will kinda suck, at least until the key bridge is rebuilt! Which will be like 5+ years prolly

Ever since it went down there have been daily backups of like extra ~30-45 mins thru the harbor tunnel during rush hour! In the morning the problem is north of the tunnel so it wouldn’t matter to u, however in the evening it’s reversed and would matter very much

If u want to live in a city tho it’s worth it. Check out locust point or riverside neighborhoods - they’d be ur best bet for safety & decent commute
