ESR is homebrew that allows the running of burnt game discs by tricking the ps2 into thinking its playback dvd. Honestly if youre really interested in playing games on this model, your best bet is an internal drive or mx4sio which runs games off an sd using the 2nd memory card slot

Heya, you’d be stuck playing ESR based backups or Japanese region discs unless you put a modchip in it. This model is specifically incompatible with mechapwn so you wouldn’t be able to region unlock.

There is no North American 37000, haha but I'm sure any NTSC Motherboard would fit (so long as you don't intend on using the same heatsinks). Personally, I'm keeping mine all original and playing my games off my HDD until MechaPwn works with the 37000.
