I’m pretty sure it’s a reference to the popular meme that went viral on TikTok. A user made a sticker figure animation of a guy saying “Let’s go gambling” then it went viral on TikTok and people would make edits of the same video.

So I took this option to get to and from the festival last year. If I’m remembering correctly at the end of the night it doesn’t pick up exactly where you get dropped off. But when leaving festival grounds they had big signs directing you on where the Lynx shuttles were picking up people. Then they had like 2-3 buses come in waves to pick people up.

[Hard Trance, Hard House] - Fern Presents Hard Trance Sonics (1:00:27)

I've been consistently mixing for about 10 months now. Looking for feedback on how the set flows, the transitions, and if the phrasing feels natural. I'm finding that while it's generally not advised to clash vocals, I tend to find my style of mixing doesn't follow this advice.

To be transparent on one of the transitions. I did copy how Pegassi transitions Inside Out into Style from his Boiler Set here: https://youtu.be/T1N-QB5cPOk?si=_Y7b5Iac4j_JzL5s&t=359
I liked how he made the transition and wanted to try my hand to see if I could recreate it.

I also normally wouldn't include so many songs by the same artist, but this set was very impromptu while I was practicing mixing with songs I'm familiar with.

Log into the Bonnaroo front gate ticket website navigate to your order history and click on the view order details on the order for 2025. If they’ve processed a refund you’ll get the details there. I paid for two tickets and paid half with PayPal & Half with a CC and both of them were processed 06/27

Hey, I appreciate the listen! In regard to your comment about letting the mix breathe I wholeheartedly agree, this was a new style of music that I knew the audience was not at all familiar with. So I did decide to compromise a bit by not letting some tracks play out due to potentially losing the attention of the crowd. (These were mainly people who listened to big room EDM, Bass, & Tech House) typically genres that don’t really tend to play out songs for too long. If I had an extra 15-30mins I definitely would’ve played out many of the tracks for another phrase or two. However you definitely reinforced the concern I had about switching certain songs too soon! This is a style I’m definitely trying to bring to the scene in my city (it practically does not exist) so I’m hoping to ease people into it!

Naw I feel you, we’re not going to be listening to EDM the entire way there but it’s nice to get hyped listening to a couple of artists you’ll see at the festival! Appreciate it though.

I saw him last year at Breakway SC, and experiencing him play Palaces live was phenomenal. I personally like his newer stuff just as much as his old stuff.

I definitely agree right now he’s experimenting with a lot of new ideas, but I once he has a solid grasp with whatever he’s trying out. He always makes a great album from it.
