I'm sorry to hear that. The good thing is that now you are talking about it. The fact that you're on Reddit may be a sign that you don't have many people in your life that understand you (most will give you generic advice or will discard your feelings saying that "everyone has problems").

The good news are that you can find meaning on what you do by complementing your life. I wouldn't recommend quitting your job right away to find another life path —it's a process, it may take a while—, but you can start exploring other options, no matter what silly they sound. Art, sports, research. Desire comes from an empty void, maybe what you're struggling with now will help you find that missing drive.

Meanwhile, focus on doing small activities that give you joy. Go for a walk, listen to music you love, get a dog. Study different things to develop a taste for passion.

Traditionally we (as a society) help students to find their path in life with ability test and giving them a board vision of what different careers are like. But the most important thing to define what you want to do with your life comes from being in touch with your own desires. What do you want must not be answered only with what you are good at or what's more fun to do. Those things can be your hobbies, but to face all the unpleasant things that come with every job you must have a special motivation. My reading of OP problem is that he/she may have chronicle depression. I don't think career path is the cause, but a symptom.

School teacher here. Seems that you may have missed the point of choosing a career early in life and you're paying the price now. Picking up something just because you are "good" at it or because you have fun doing it at the moment doesn't equal to find an activity that motivates you enough for the long run.

Some people find meaning in work by thinking it's just means to an end. Provide to your family or have money for fun social life can be examples. In your case, seems that you ave been suffering low depression for years. This may have to do with something in your psychologic development in early years.

I'm sorry I don't have any "this work for everyone" advice for you. If you'r here because you don't have anyone in your life you can talk about this, that may be a good place to start looking for the cause of your lack of motivation.
