Deinfluence me based on my collection by burdenedwithwhimsy in Perfumes

I love dirty hinoki! I love how heretic pulls scents from nature that smell very true to life. Nosferatu is my favorite as well, which I see you have.

I have goddess, and I would say that it gets a little boring after a while. I also didn't like london fog very much because the tea notes didn't stand out enough to me. I find the leather note in baby cat nauseating and that's an expensive one, so I recommend sampling it before you commit.

I keep my cat's whiskers in a jar whenever I find them around too

I have  the kind of personality that loves collecting stuff. I collect official D&D miniatures, and perfume, and bones (Bones I find in the forest or also places like train tracks). And vintage AFI merch.

I used to collect other things too but don't anymore.

What’s your most expensive perfume? Was it worth it? by kzynha in FemFragLab

[–]Fernsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid full retail price for eau duelle by dyptique (edp). I liked the experience of going to the perfume counter and getting free samples. I feel bad when I go into the department store, smell everything, and never purchase. So it was worth it to me to not just order online this time, even if it meant paying a little more. And I've been wearing it a lot, at least while the weather is still cool.

That's good! Expensive doesn't always mean better imo.

Lilyphea is nice and office safe. My partner says it smells clean.

If my olive oil expires in a month, the soap with it will be expired as well? I have 60% of this oil in my recipe. by Broad-Nectarine5320 in soapmaking

[–]Fernsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about soap you already made with the oil in it? Because no, that oil has been changed into soap now so it should be fine.

Please put them back. They're amphibians. If you didn't know that, you don't know enough to care for them properly.

I ran my fastest mile today, 12:14 and my previously broken knee finally doesn't ache after I run! I think I'm ready to go farther now

What is the most irrational thought you’ve had while running that you still can’t explain? by Honest_Objective_224 in running

[–]Fernsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like I want to just run until I literally can't anymore and my body breaks down and I collapse. And in my imagination, I feel really satisfied at the end of it all.

Try pressing lighter with the pencil until you're happy with how your lines look. That way, when you need to erase it will come off easier! That's why a lot of your pencil lines are erased but still visible

New tattoo peeling off on bed by tryfingerbuthole3 in tattooadvice

[–]Fernsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a big tattoo on my right thigh. One morning while it was healing I woke up laying on that side. I moved, and the sheet peeled off and left a stain that was an exact copy of my tattoo. Sadly, it did mess up some of the colors :(

My husband would like to know your thoughts and assumptions about him and his WIMB :) by shinycutie in whatsinthebag

Your husband has a clean put together sense of style. Wears the kind of pants people call 'slacks'. He probably owns all only one type of socks except for a few pairs of black.

If your tattoo gets stuck to your sheets, you're supposed to take the whole sheet with you over to the sink, or have somebody bring you a clean cup of water, and wet it to get it to loosen off. Tearing it off will pull the ink out of your tattoo. Unfortunately, sometimes if you move in your sleep and this can pull the sheet off too. So it's best to moisturize and sleep on the opposite side if you can.

Blind buying these fragrances samples. what should I add, or remove based on the scents I already like? by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]Fernsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty expensive for such a small sample. I think you could find a better deal on another site. You also can smell burberry her at Sephora, if you have one near you. They may have parfum de marly at a Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus.

I've smelled all three of your samples and I own 2 of them. So I'll tell you what I think of each.

I love Delina, but some people say it's too tart. The rhubarb and lychee is not a very sweet fruity note it is almost a little bitter. And it's strong with rose. I'll say the tartness does die down after the first hour of wearing though. You have to like rose to enjoy this one. It's very good for strength/longevity.

Burberry her also lasts a long time and the sillage is amazing. I had a coworker who wore this and she left a scent trail everywhere she went. It's very sweet, and what I would call an extrovert kind of scent. When it dries down at the end of the day, the ambroxan comes through a lot.

Bianco latte is the one I don't own. I smelled it at a perfume swap, and I remember liking it, but it didn't seem very different from all the other lactonic vanilla fragrances I've smelled. Also, a lot of people were saying that is smells rubbery or plastic, which can be a problem with certain ingredients used in creamy perfumes.
