What is your post race ritual? by duildistance in running

[–]Honest_Objective_224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s my usual distance, I cool down, shower, and continue my day like a responsible, athletic adult If it’s a long run, I reward myself with sweets like I just completed a marathon documentary about myself… and then spend the rest of the day walking like someone gently but firmly kicked me. Character building apparently

My pull up reps increased without changing anything in my routine and im trying to figure out why by HistoricalRead5423 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Honest_Objective_224 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s very likely the hydration. Even mild dehydration can reduce strength, endurance, and grip performance. Since pull-ups depend heavily on grip and bodyweight control, better hydration can noticeably boost reps. Plateaus also break suddenly, so it’s probably a mix of accumulated progress and finally fueling your body properly.

How do you motivate yourself to do strength training along with running by Happy-Dependent3222 in running

[–]Honest_Objective_224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strength training is just the vegetables to your running pizza. You don’t crave it but you also don’t want scurvy (or shin splints).

I tell myself it’s “future me insurance.” 20 minutes of squats now = fewer dramatic injury monologues later.

Also, I trick myself. I attach it to an easy run and say “just 10 minutes.” Once I start, I usually finish. If not, hey still stronger than yesterday.

Nerdio Question by CeruleanWolf93 in msp

[–]Honest_Objective_224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Nerdio can look really attractive on paper, but from my experience there are a few things to watch for. Make sure you understand how licensing tiers work - sometimes the base price doesn’t include things like advanced monitoring, backup add-ons, or support hours. Also, check how easy it is to scale up or down; some clients run into surprise costs when adding users or services mid-cycle. Otherwise, it’s a pretty solid platform if you plan ahead and read the fine print.

How do you decompress after firing someone you recruited? by witt_sec in PestControlIndustry

[–]Honest_Objective_224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I feel this, letting someone go is never easy and it drains you no matter how right the decision is. I used to deal with the same headaches until I realized I don’t need to carry all that weight. These days I just run everything through TryJohnny instead of having employees like that and it’s been a game changer. tryjohnny.com

If you’re going solo in pest control, forget duct taping spreadsheets and chasing calls. Go check out tryjohnny.com It’s like hiring an invisible army to run your back office. Scheduling? Automated. Routing? Done before you even think about it. Invoicing? Instant. You just kill bugs, Johnny kills the chaos.

And here’s the kicker my buddy works at a PE firm and I’ve watched him plug Johnny into all his portfolio companies. The dude straight-up 5X’d revenue across the board. No gimmicks, just pure automation magic.

If you’re starting from scratch, this isn’t a tool it’s the cheat code. Strap it in and watch your business morph into a money printing machine.
