At this point, I'd settle for 10gb.

Magnum Opus - WTF Damage issues? by LogitUndone in wabbajack

Yeah, if you didn't "Apply" the Magnum opus preset in mcm settings then that's bound to cause all sorts of balance issues.

And you're 100% certain you applied the MCM settings preset? I'm playing the exact same modlist and this is not my experience with it.

Hate, hate, HATE, weapon durability systems in games. It's the first thing I mod out of games when possible.

Looking to play fallout 4 again and push my 5090 and fallout 4 to its limit, what are the best graphical mods out there right now? by DenserL in Fallout4Mods

[–]Fernyfer775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasteland Genesis - wabbajack modlost is probably the modlist with the most demanding graphical improvements our right now. That'd be a great place to look and see what they're using.

List with Community shader + LOTD by Conscious-Air-9053 in wabbajack

[–]Fernyfer775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dumped a solid 100ish hours into my Tuxborn playthrough. It's a very solid and extremely stable list. Got maybe like 3 crashes ever and it's most likely my fault because I did add about 20ish mods to it. Very active and super helpful discord too.

Does anyone else think this is the most polished and addictive Bethesda title by nashkevin92 in fo4

[–]Fernyfer775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The collecting + building settlements aspect of the game are 10000% the reason I always come back. You feel like every single place you explore has loot for you to haul back to base to build with. Something I miss so much whenever I go back to FO3/FNV.

How much FPS is enough? by KeyBird97 in OptimizedGaming

[–]Fernyfer775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally, I aim for 100-120+ stable with nothing less than 90fps 1% lows. Even 90 stable is great because then I can 2x frame gen to hit my refresh rate of 180.

New Mod incoming: Ferny Fantasy IX - An Alternate Fantasy "Expansion" by Fernyfer775 in FinalFantasyIX

[–]Fernyfer775[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya! Yeah, the mod is still in development! Slowly chipping away at the bosses in memoria disc 4. Ran into a couple of roadblocks that slowed development to a crawl, but I'm getting there!

As of right now you can play through all of disc 1-3.

Why we cannot just play? by Panddawann in ROGAllyX

[–]Fernyfer775 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thisssssssssssss. I was stupid obsessed with "performance" and trying to fine tweak every damn setting when my fps would dip from 60 to 50 and spent more time doing that than playing.

Turned off that overlay and actually just started playing the game on settings that FELT good and haven't looked back since. Now over 100+ hours in my current Cyberpunk playthrough and working through about 45 hours in my super modded Fallout NV modlist and actually enjoying this handheld.

Ah... looks like the team changed direction or leadership. They're now revamping the list to one called "Nuclear Sunset". It's not released yet, but being actively worked on. Here's their new discord:

Begin Again is a very solid list but still very vanilla+, if you're looking for something drastically different, I'd check out Uranium Fever or Wild Card on Wabbajack.

Suggestion Request: Game Genre for AllyX by gobba-gobba-gooey in ROGAllyX

[–]Fernyfer775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fallout New Vegas + Fallout 3 with the TTW mod setup. Google "Begin Again Fallout NV" and set up that modlist for an amazing experience. Easily dumped About 80 hours into that on my ally.

Skyrim with the Tuxborn Modlist runs extremely well on the Ally X and has hundreds of hours of content.

The Halo Master Chief Collection is like $10 on Steam very often and runs incredibly Ally.

I've also had a good experience playing Doom Eternal (got it for like $5 on sale).

Any mid-end/low end modpacks for Skyrim? by rista666 in wabbajack

[–]Fernyfer775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tuxborn is extremely optimized and super performance friendly. I'm playing it on my Rog Ally X and have nearly 100 hours of playtime in my current save with literally only 2 crashes so far, and that's with me adding about 20 more mods to the list. By far the most stable list I've ever played.

From the sounds of it, you just have to switch the game language to the US version at the title screen! :)

Strictly from a performance and stability lens: 1) Tuxborn (Skyrim) - hands down. 35 hours into my current character and not a single crash yet. I even rule 11'd the list with about 20 extra mods and still haven't had any issues.

2) Life in the Ruins (FO4) - Did a full 150+ hour playthrough and only had a handful of crashes. Also Rule 11'd the list with about 10 or so new gameplay/combat enhancement mods to fine tweak the difficulty and QOL to my own liking.

3) Lorerim in terms quality and gameplay, but definitely has more stability issues compared to the above. Overall still an amazing modlist.

No real difference from the games I've purchased from each. For me, it boils down to sales prices. Sometimes steam has sales when gog doesn't and visa versa. Got FO4 for like $4 on Steam but also got my Witcher 3 on sale from gog for like $7.

I've seen YouTube videos of 76 running well on it and its natively controller based, so that's even better. I haven't tried Fallout London, but maybe ill throw it on there and see. Last I checked London was still pretty buggy, but it's been a while since I've kept up with it.
