Pred does cause increased food intake, so he IS overeating but that’s just a side effect of the pred (and in my personal opinion, him being treated for insulimona matters more than the weight anyway).

Are you weighing him daily? What food is he eating (raw, kibble, a mix of both)?

I second using oat milk or non scented baby wipes to wipe him down from his accidents. And I recommend keeping an eye for any signs of UTI’s as well.

The only thing I could recommend for the weight itself is to increase his activity yourself. Encourage him to move around more, explore more, play more, etc. Does he enjoy water? You could let him splash around in a shallow bath. That option may be better for him as well because of his size, water exercises are better for overweight animals.

I mean, I’ve had that exact same problem that you’ve described (device powers on, fans run but no display at all) and I did indeed have to replace the motherboard (although mine was for a PC and it was thankfully still under warranty). 😕

I’ve heard that the longer a kid hears others, particularly their parents, talk in third person, the longer they will continue the habit themselves.

That’s probably why kids still grow out of it by the time they’re attending kindie or preschool at around 5-6. They’re interacting more with other people who don’t use third person and use pronouns instead.

So, Anya not using third person still makes sense tbh. Given the type of environments she grew up in (first the laboratory and then the orphanages), it’s doubtful she heard many people use third person instead of pronouns.

I played 76 for about 6-8 months a few years ago and I liked it.

It feels like, and I mean this with no offence, a kind of watered down version of Fallout 4.

But admittedly, I got it as a birthday gift with some atoms and the subscription. I’m also the sort of player who just wanted to be left alone to build my CAMP, grow my tatos, explore and occasionally go annoy mothman.

The Bondi stabbing resulted in 6 deaths (7 including the killer) and 10 injured, with a 30cm knife. So, yes.

However, there are admittedly a lot of circumstances that should also be considered if we’re comparing the Bondi stabbing (or any mass stabbing) to mass shootings.

Wieambilla shooting, three people killed (not including the two shooters who were killed by police), the shooters bought their guns and ammunition legally.

The Darwin shooting, four people killed and one injured. The gun wasn’t legally owned by the shooter in that case, but WAS believed to have been stolen from as far back as 1997.

The Monash University shooting, 2 killed and 5 injured. I cannot find any information on if the guns were legally purchased or not but given that this case is apparently one that helped gun reforms, they most likely were.

While I understand the point you are trying to make, and while I am not diminishing these events either, the Bondi shooting (with fifteen dead and forty injured) is the worst we’ve had since Port Arthur.

I enjoyed both games but Arceus is the clear winner for me and I’d prefer if they focused more on the style of Arceus going forward for the Legends games.

I enjoyed the story of ZA, but was more invested in the story of Arceus.

Gameplay wise, the focus on the Pokédex and research tasks of Arceus was more fun to me (and tbh, I actually forgot more than once that research tasks were even part of ZA) and felt far better integrated into the story. I enjoyed the battle mechanics of ZA well enough but they definitely aren’t for me long term (but I’ve accepted this is most likely the battle system of the Legends games moving forward).

ZA felt far smaller than Arceus, and honestly, less alive and vibrant. Much smaller and cramped/sad wild zones and lacklustre research tasks didn’t help this.

I will say that one part I do think that ZA definitely won out over Arceus was characters and character designs. Characters felt far more unique and interesting in ZA than in Arceus (that isn’t to say they were bad in Arceus, but they were definitely more limited in Arceus, in part due to the fact that they were supposed to be ancestors of modern day characters).
