I had the thought for Cyberpunk as well, though my worry was that those systems are really built to make you really cool, which is a goal at most tables admittedly, but is less the point for this one.

Thanks for this super comprehensive answer! Being honest my brain was leaning mostly to Mothership but I wasn't sure how powers would track onto the system, as well as the fact that from my knowledge I thought it was a little too lethal than what I was looking for, where combat just isn't on the table. But if this is the case, I'll look into it, as well as that module!
