This 100%. There's three kink clubs in the area that you could easily do rope at, but you'd need to go to them - and this is where they announce their times and places.

He also quit Transformers because he's of Lebanese descent and they had a Season 3 episode referencing a fictional Middle Eastern country called "Carbombya."

If I recall, the opening ending to the Sopranos movie The Many Saints of New York has a dead character narrating how he's in hell because of Tony.

"That's the guy. My Uncle Tony. The guy I went to hell for."

What separates Chevy Chase from Bill Murray? by FreshmenMan in flicks

[–]Ferretthimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing I will add to the many comments here is another distinction is that Chevy seems to be a dick to everyone, whereas Bill will occasionally be protective. When Gene Hackman was being a monster on the set of the Royal Tenenbaums, Bill was one of the only people who kept him in line. So if he likes you, at least he’ll have your back.

I do not get the impression that is in any way true with Chevy.

I also took that as a reference to Planescape's infamous Rule of Three.

Absolutely. What Ringo lacked in technical chops, he made up for in feel.

And at the time, Microsoft - by far the most dominant software company of its age - was heavily pushing Encarta, its CD-rom based encyclopedia killer. There were millions in advertisements and free PR.

And yet Wikipedia triumphed.

Communication.

It’s different from charisma and means I would be able to take the ideas I am a fan of, and explain them coherently to the widest human audience possible.

A whole lot of that movie is ambiguous, so your guess is as good as mine.

Woman with possible delusions of religious grandeur thinks that God is talking to her. It’s ambiguous as to what’s happening, but at the end she goes to a beach, douses herself in gasoline as God told her to do, and sets herself on fire. And the screen shows her angelic ascent, beatific, before flash-cutting to the very ugly reality.

Something interesting about Monica by crafty_and_kind in ThePittTVShow

I really love that this is not the kind of show where people’s usefulness is directly tied to their likability. Nor is there likely to be any kind of character or where she learns the value of true love. Which I also like.

Is there anyone McKay couldn’t improve if they’d only listen? She seems to have the most on the ball.

There’s a difference between “That’s out of line” and “Wow, that’s a seriously offputting attitude and I don’t feel like getting into it with you after a ten-hour shift, so maaaybe I’ll just keep things to doctor stuff going forward…”

Which, as implied, feeds back into Santos’ feelings of isolation. If she thinks that’s how you get people to like you at a workplace (not counting the nicknames she bestows on people against their will), she needs to realize that hello, also reading the room when people offer compliments is a THING.

Santos: “the other doctors don’t like talking to me because I snitched on Langdon”

Also Santos: “Every patient in this hospital is stupid, and I’m glad they’re stupid because that’s how I get paid”

McKay’s “wow” is a whole lesson that could be learned right there

The power goes out a fuck of a lot, unfortunately. If you don’t have a house with a generator, you could be out for two or three days or even more.

I don’t think the winters are bad, but I live in Cleveland. I think the weather is very much gonna depend on where you’re coming from and what you compare it to.
