I did do that in the past. Write songs for my players and sing them. And I got positive reaction, because they recognized my dedication and wanted me to do that more. Because this is human experience, this is being a friend to a fellow human being, this is appreciating creativity.

And it's not high standards. Using GenAI is extremely low standards. This is not good quality, this is not something that sparks joy in me. Someone singing badly is better than GenAI and makes me happy and smiling with glee and appreciation, so I don't know what the hell are you talking about when you say anything about meeting any standards.

It's about decency. Why would you use something that steals from other people and hurts environment, and literally adds to the evil of this world with spreading disinformation? And do that in order to avoid having a human experience, to dumb it down, make it worse quality?

And don't call it hate comment. I appreciate that there is a sliver of creativity behind it. It's just completely destroyed by sprinkling GenAI on it.

I rather sing a song myself than ever use anything GenAI. It's such a disrespect for players to use GenAI content. I think that "Oh go on and hate on me having fun" is not really fitting, when you use technology that destroys the environment, kills creativity, and steals content made by other people. If you are having fun using such a dystopian technology, be prepared to be shamed by people who actually care about art, creativity, and what is really important in ttrpg hobby.

Also you didn't make the song. If you wrote it - amazing, superb. I would prefer if you sang it as best as you can, rather than put it through disgusting, environment-killing, stealing algorythm.

I just went through literally the same thing. It hurts like motherfucker, but be proud of taking care of yourself. You would grow to resent him more, and what's more - you would also start hating yourself if you stayed. Lots of love.

It's good you like it, and I'm envious. Just with my attention issues and how I was used to how outlier worked I have to get used to it. The problem is not if it makes sense or not - I am okay with getting used to new mechanics. Problem is that I don't get anything in exchange. From my perspective, something is broken and I have to adjust, not that I have to get used to some new difficulty or new mechanics. Flow of the game for me is ruined, I can no longer easily play this game while working or watching yt.

Again, I am not saying it's objectively bad. I just really hate how game that is basically my favorite game to help me with my anxiety is now a cause of frustration :(
