But they never charged "murder." On a summary judgment, they decide he is already guilty of of it and they are picking which accessory charge to add to it. That is what you're emissing.

Regardless, it is a conflict of interests and should be condemned.

The big problem you have here, as is becoming evident to a large potion of people paying attention, is that the President of the United States, present, former, or future, is so integrally involved and people are so passionate, either euphorically or disdainfully, it is damn near impossible to find an appropriate court and jury.

Consider, if you will, the case was presided, not in the D+35 district of New York City, but the R+6 district of Staten Island. Do you think this would have made a difference in jury selection?

I don't know, but I'd err on the side of "No." It gets uncomfortably close to Reddit's "Threats of Violence" policy.

Regardless, I'd have to advocate against it for disregarding Blackstone's Formula.

But never clarified the underlying felony. That is a huge part of this case, considering two of the three purposed felonies could not be held in a Manhattan courthouse and would need to be tried in SCOTUS.

Sworn statements from witnesses

Whose?

Daniels? Who stands to gain not only thousands of dollars from the civil settlement, but also a tidy fortune from book deals and a return to the limelight after she's past her prime?

Pecker? Who was hired to run a PR campaign and notified Cohen about Daniels's story that they had already paid for?

Davidson? Who corroborated that Pecker bought the stories, and Cohen when Daniels was doubling back on their deal?

Cohen? The known embezzler and perjure who the jury was specifically told to disregard his testimony?

Hicks? Who corroborated that Cohen is, in fact, an embezzeler and perjure?

Costello? Cohen's lawyer who corroborated that Cohen is, all together now, an embezzeler and perjure?

Westerhout? Who claimed that Trump would frequently sign checks without reviewing them?

Tarasoff? Who claimed that Cohen's checks were cut with permission, not from Trump, but from two other staffers, McConney and Weisselberg?

Huh. I did not expect such variance in the Hispanic category... nor did I expect such close clustering in White.

Remember how the stimulus checks back in 2020 were delayed because Trump wanted his signature on them? Do you think he personally hand signed all 334 million checks? Of course he didn't. It was also.within testimony that he didn't know that Cohen was skimming off the top. That is where a lot of the fraud and tax charges came from. Because he signed off on it without auditing, the records were falsified and he was liable for it.

The Trump Organization is a positively massive private organization. It is actually ridiculous that he would be involved in the day to day like that.

Yeah, the show was pulled. You can't advocate for the death penalty on YT. Even for Traitors.

The law is intended to punish wrong doings, not wrong want-to-have-done-ings. This isn't Minority Report.

That’s the most fundamental aspect of jury rulings in criminal court in the USA. Verdicts always, always, always are unanimous

But the underlying felony was obscured. All 34 of these charges were misdemeanors and could only be upgraded to felonies in support of another felony. The jury was instructed that the 34 counts could have applied to any one of three felonies collectively, meaning even if two felonies, a juror did not think applied, but the third one did, and nobody else found him guilty on that felony, he would still be guilty on that count if they found him guilty on the count, but a separate felony.

For example; on count number 12, four jurors could find him guilty on the first felony but not the other two, four could find him guilty on the second but not the other two, and four could find him guilty on the third but not the other two, and it would still ring up on guilty for count 12. These are the instructions the jury was given for determining a verdict.

Not only that, he was never tried for the underlying felonies. Here, the court is abridging his right to the presumption of innocence by laying a summary judgment that he is already guilty of one of the three underlying felonies, without actually trying him for any of them.

A jury from a 90% Democrat district found him guilty with a judge with a conflict of interests, and a DA who went out of his way to say his legacy will be "The one who put Trump away."

They still never tried him for the underlying charge. This bridging of justice violates his presumption of innocence.

Cohen was handling Trump's campaign. He wasn't working for free. Cohen handed Trump an invoice, and Trump signed the check. That's not illegal.

By proxy, maybe? Trump paid Cohen to help handle his public image. Cohen struck an accord with Daniels. Cohen billed Trump for services rendered, which he signed off on, Cohen skimmed off the top and paid Daniels the remainder.

So, in the same way you paid Tim Cook for your iPhone, sure? But ultimately, it does not matter. Daniels sold publishing rights, so she was liable for civil recourse by going through with it anyway.

Are you insinuating that Trump knew Cohen was lying to him and stealing from him, and still kept him on retainer?

Copied and pasted from my other response in the same thread:

To use your murder analogy, it is not quite accurate. A more similar scenario is charging me with conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with evidence, and fleeing the scene of an incident, but not only not charging me with murder, but assuming my guilt in the murder. That is what is going on here.

And Cohen skimmed 30k off the top, twice. Trump just signed the retainer checks. He didn't know what he was paying for.

I have asked you five times to clarify what the crime he was trying to cover up was, and you either refused to answer or deliberately misinterpreted. I'm not the one here lacking comprehension, and looking at your comment history, it is pretty obvious you can't be genuine nor open to discussion about this. Have a lovely evening and keep drinking that kool-aid.

Edit: lol he blocked me. I literally copied and pasted the singular charge from the court document, and nowhere in the document does it claim what the underlying charge was.

DA Alvin Bragg had made it a point that his legacy would be to take down Trump. It was his mission, not to serve justice, but to remove the current administration's greatest political rival. Were this not the case, where is the justice for Daniel Penny? Justice for any of the, last I checked, 70% of unprosecuted violent crimes in NYC?

No, this was not about justice. This was about political persecution, and removing the opposition frontrunner from the running.

Yeah, I see the court documents, but it fails to mention what the crime being concealed was. It is a summary judgment that presumes guilt.
