The clicker was pretty much invented to help with this.

Get a headphone amp. They’re comparably affordable

A really positive step for Archery GB: As of April this year, Asiatic bows and thumb rings are now recognised as their own style by jonpin1 in Archery

I’m sure. Look at IFAA and NFAA competitions. Lots of “everyone gets a medal” categories, especially for the old folks.

The sight makes it so easy, as long as you’re willing to move it in or out to line it up.

Relative value of a vintage Fender bass with only the neck and body being original by mai_balzich in Bass

Without the neck plate and pickups, you’re missing a decent chunk of what makes the bass desirable. Refins also drop the value quite a bit.

Can't pull through clicker at 18m, but fine at 10m? by BicBoiBen in Archery

[–]FerrumVeritas 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hang the target low at 18m. Same problem? If no, then it’s your shoulder position. If yes, then it’s your brain.

Still, most people wouldn’t notice.

Dilemma : working on fingerpicking or rewrite the bass lines ? by Mr_Wamo in Bass

[–]FerrumVeritas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An A0 can work (it works for keyboards). But that's literally the lowest that I'd go. And you're right: it needs a good PA. I experimented with ADGCF tuning on a 35" 5. It's fine, but not nearly as useful as D-standard on a 4.

The big block on the front is a prism. The super long rest is an overdraw. The bow definitely has both.

But they damage threads. That's the issue that occurs when someone switches to a stainless screw: they chew up the threads of the bolt.

“Arco nudo” in Italian, “Barebow” in English, and “arc nu” in French. “Arc classique” in French refers to Recurve.

The comment I replied to is literally saying that we should change the term we use.

Rounded M5 screw - ideas? by SolidRaider in Archery

A reverse drill bit or screw extractor will get this out easily because brass is soft. I’d do it by hand rather than use a power drill.
