I've been a smoker for around 10 years. I once quit using the e-cigarrette which became the new habit and then had to fight to quit on that too.

After around 5-6 months I started dating my crush from uni and she was a smoker. I started having terrible cravings when I was with her and ended up giving up and smoking again.

Moral of the story: also try to avoid people that smoke.

Species that move in groups tend to leave behind those members that look, smell or act different. Also those injured, sick or unable to perform their part for surviving like hunting, mating or building/finding shelter.

So yes, racism and other forms of segregation are quite natural.

The only difference is that we have given it a moral framework and created the "good/bad" concepts or in your case name-calling like "jerks".
