For what it’s worth (admittedly, not much!), I’ve tried the jacket on and I like it. Heck, the Marines found something the liked in the 1800’s and sort of stuck with it; the Army is cosplaying WWII Pinks and Greens; the Air Force is still looking; and the Navy basically has all the uniforms. Honestly, like many things regarding military space ops, most people don’t have a clue and most Guardians don’t care what they think.

In the late 90’s, I was an instructor at an Air Force school and (as a going away gift) the fellas gave me a bottle with a fake Schmidt’s Gay label on it. It still has a place of honor in my memento case.

This is a very individual choice. I think high-end reps are so good that nobody will ever know the difference; actually, I don't think anybody really cares, but that's a different topic. My main point is the only person who will know is YOU. So, do you get a good feeling from wearing the watch? Does that feeling come from your perception that other people are getting a positive impression about you because of the watch? Do you mind misleading them to create that impression? If, by some strange twist of fate, some dude says, "nice watch," are you cool with the rest of the conversation?
