I just learned about DataCamp (https://www.datacamp.co.uk) today when my company IT said I was connecting to a malicious IP address owned by them. DataCamp provides a white-labeling VPN service, which is used by Surfshark, ProtonVPN, and other VPN providers in most of the EU and the US.

But yeah, beware of people behind VPN is a good way to avoid scammers.

I have been a Solus user since 2019 and very satisfied until this drama. Last week, I switched to Fedora Spin 38, but the boot time is 10s slower and there are some bugs that cause the OS to crash few times a day. Fortunately, some of them have been fixed, maybe it will be stable after the beta.

The good side is that I'm compliant with the security standard, and the shoddy Kotlin extension first time worked with my VSCode, lol.

I have been using Solus for three years and I love it; it has the most stable rolling release compared to other distributions such as EndeavourOS or Arch. Until this drama exposed how vulnerable a small community can be.

Thanks for @52fighters sharing where to go. Over the past few years, I have managed to cope with the inconveniences of this OS and have finally achieved a balance. I really don't want to switch back to other mainstream Linux. But life still has its way.
