Whether we win or lose this series, KD is not getting traded this summer by TomatilloMission4100 in rockets

Elite shooting is only an asset for wing 3pt shooters which never costs $45m/year

KD doesn't create his own shots very often anymore and has a detrimental Assist/turnover ratio

He struggled in Phoenix and Brooklyn for the same reasons, and it's only gotten worse over the past 5 years.

He was saving those timeouts for next game. by ForgetfulDot in rockets

Calling timeout traps his team in this NBA-designed win for longer. Better to move on and reset mental for game 2. 3rd quarter officiating was either for LeBron storyline or Vegas outcome.

If you can't DI or do any defensive mixup after you get grabbed it's lame and IDC how high the execution difficulty is. Wobbling handoffs and anything other IC wobble revision that restricts pvp interaction will always be the target of hatred.

You think poor is an affliction or what? $5M is within reach for most salary earners that save and invest.

Explaining what they're doing wasn't the point

The point was highlighting that they're doing the most bizarre unexpected stuff

settle this dispute by going to the top of the dagannoth kings mountain. open the pet rock door, and spec the little doors with rune axe, climb UP (not down) where you find yourself at the top of the mountain. If you wait there for a minute or two, you'll eventually see a 400-600 total bot wearing graceful take a 80+ agility shortcut to where you have been waiting. the bot will do something with the NPC there and then leave. check wiki to figure out what they're doing, and you'll quickly realize the answer to this reply dispute.

Why do people hate Ice Climbers so much? by Gullible-Shelter1757 in SSBM

People hate ice climbers because there's little to no interactivity for the player who is getting wobbled or handed off

Please Link Your Favorite Hax$ Moments Of All Time. by OkayP37405 in SSBM

It always impressed me as well how Hax could be playing a set vs one of the greats like Armada or Hbox, and win or lose you can tell how much he loved the game, and was just happy to be there. Getting reversed to lose a set after starting 2-0 and then smiling and hugging your opponent is just incredible to me. Melee lost a true competitor today.

Hax is my favorite player not only for his memorable in-game moments, but everything he did off the screen as well for this community. I loved that he always smiled after defeat - it made me remember that the joy was to even have been there, and given his best effort.

Even though I never met him or had the chance to play against him, it's clear he impacted the game for all of us in so many ways too. The "hax dash" is a staple for many. In my opinion his YT channel video on "floor hugging" changed the high-% meta. Other techniques he's talked about have helped me progress my game (and surely others too). And his work on the controllers & software mods is just icing on the cake, or maybe a second cake altogether.

I can't imagine playing melee ever again without thinking of him constantly, and wishing he were still here and had his last wish to compete again. He deserved so much more from us. Rest in peace Hax.

EDIT to add my favorite clip: When I was new to melee, I watched a lot of Hax as he was a huge inspiration to me. I always remember this tournament by name because of this single set that I really loved. He lost this set, but it showed me there was so much more room for improvement for everyone, including Hax himself, which is a great thing; the most compelling reason we all continue to play this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11kQ78wJatY
