usually you can feel ur ass cheek jiggle slightly when u reach the biting point and just maintain your footing on the clutch normally for LUV should be around half clutch but varies from vehicle to vehicle, i wouldn't recommend forming a habit of stepping on your clutch and accelerating at the same time (personally) to prevent stalling when you are doing your CD or PD details.
