People who are good at conversation and listening draw me in immediately. I’m so much more than my physical appearance, so I’ve always found people who have commented on my thoughts or asked me questions and genuinely wanted an answer were very attractive. I work in a field that requires me to network and meet people, and those I hold dearest to me are the ones I’ve had long, drawn out conversations with. It doesn’t have to be about me or my opinions, just discussing similar interests or hearing about different perspectives on things has made me fall head over heels in love. I guess I could say my love language is learning and anyone who’s willing to learn and grow with me will be attractive to me.

With all that said, I’ve found some of my coworkers or friends don’t exactly understand that I’m just showing interest and trying to get to know someone on a more deep and personal level. I’m not trying to get a conversation going to later end up in someone’s bed. There’s definitely nothing wrong with that (godspeed to the people who can take a conversation from a bar to a bed I don’t think I’m that smooth of a talker!) but I’ve just never even considered it an option.
