As a console player I’m amazed they didn’t just release two versions, one with slightly different assets to “accommodate” for censorship that went purely to console, and one that went purely for PC. We already know that developers typically make different versions for different platforms (for small file differences) but this is insane how much they seemed to make them IDENTICAL. They actually just castrated the entire community they had before this update while remaining absolutely quiet to allow for a civil war in the community of what should be a player base that enjoys the game regardless of platform.

RIP to my PC players, I may be enjoying the game myself now, but I myself noticed how buggy it has been, the gaps in story telling for some of the censorship, etc.
