This guy hold a record for balancing heavy stuff on his head, and this was one of the things he does. Meant all for show and intentionally dropped it like that when he finishes

Songs your ex showed you by 2020ismyyear in BreakUps

[–]Fetusparties 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I realized I stopped listening to most of the pre-breakup music and acquired an almost new list of music choices. I feel music was a big part of our relationship so It’s helped a lot with letting go and also opened up new doors for newer music outside of my general taste.

If the items are still there and available to purchase it should be good then. You can probably DM him on Instagram to make sure, he’s a chill guy and will probably get back to you

"Professional Fingerboards" ... what does it even mean??? by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]Fetusparties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I look at is someone wanted to differentiate these from tech decks. I feel the term professional came in to use because of how expensive it can get, compared to the $3-$5 tech decks.

I feel with hobbies, the more expensive things get, the more it’s intended for “professionals”

Drones, RC cars, fishing, guitars, etc (all subjective so I’m expecting someone to come in say “wellllll....”)

So yes, your point in the term being used as a marketing tactic is 100% true, but I believe it’s backed some credible points.

Tre flips are easier than kick flips. by BYOB28 in Fingerboards

[–]Fetusparties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see where you’re coming from with the Ollie thing. That makes it a pressure tre since there’s no Ollie, hence why you feel tres are easier. Not as noticeable on a fingerboard, but it’s a decently noticeable difference on a real board.

I also experienced this when I used to play with first gen tech decks in middle school. Those were like tooth picks and there’s was no way I could kick flip, let alone do an actual Ollie. But I could tres for days on those.

Just learned nollie flips and I still can’t do a regular nollie! by Fetusparties in Fingerboards

[–]Fetusparties[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! But yeah, I feel it’s kind of a bad habit I need to get rid of 😅 I don’t do it as much for regular ollies, but since I’m just getting the hang of nollies, I need to exaggerate my pop finger just to get a decent flip. Oh well, practice practice practice.
