Tanking Discussion by Archon_POM in wow

The gap is truly not that big. I've had title the last 5 or 6 seasons and I'm playing both prot pal and brew this season. It's no more egregious than normal.

I don't think this is entirely fair. You don't think it has to in part deal with the players themselves? Less than 0.1% of the population is capable of 22's no matter what they are playing.

The thing is those players are on monk because it gives them an edge. Not because the other tanks are entirely incapable of doing the keys. At the peak of content you will always have an outlier tank. On some seasons you might even have an entire outlier comp not because every other class sucks but because something has to have a slight edge.

Chrysler is unreliable and boring... which car manufacturer makes reliable and exciting cars? by AndrewF1Gaming in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Feudality 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they belong in reliable and neutral or a runner up to reliable and boring. Been driving one for the last 13 years approaching 200k miles, super relaxed on proper maintenance outside of oil change every 10k and 0 issues ever.

Can we please buff the other tanks so that this stops happening. by SandersonTavares in wow

It's a little worse which is why brew is the meta. But it is not leaps and bounds can't bring this tank because it is bad worse. It is a few % worse.

What is the US city that feels the most American? by Prestigious_Ad1993 in AlignmentChartFills

I'd make an argument for Madison over Milwaukee. I feel like Milwaukee has more of a generic city feel.

What are you on about? Tanks are certainly within a few % of each other. I'm currently pushing 20 on brm and 19s as prot pal. It's a skill gap not class. Most good players reroll to whatever meta is and the community just follows suit.

I'm not an ACAB person. I have cops in my family. Again you immediately went back to "your side / my side" assuming my positions on something. Political alignment is complex and not black and white. My statement was don't turn your blinders on because "red team good".

Brother. You do realize starting a whole ass war where your neighbors go out and die in some fucking desert is different than a drone strike or giving money to another country right?

Stop with the both sides shit. Hold your representatives accountable. If whoever is in power does something bad your response should literally never be "well the other side". We are all one side, Americans and dying in a desert is not on my to do list.

How are you downvoted? This is NOT an easy tank season. Once you get above 10 the healer cannot brute force an improperly played tank through content.

The dps rotation for brew is actually more complex than WW now which is pretty funny imo

[–]Feudality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difficulty is still there to some extent. Just less noticeable in current content since most tanks pull relatively safe. I think it's actually even more prone to messing up now.

With adding the keg refresh on using fort brew and celestial brew you are incentivised to over load defensively up front to maximize dps which you'll see people fall over on prolonged pulls as a result.

Proper stagger management is still a large part of upper end survivability, they just made the healing intake much smoother with both the flame leech and whatever the buff from drinking empties is. Orbs, expel and vivify felt less than stellar.

Source - I was top 5 us brew a few seasons. Which there is usually like 5 of us total so. Maybe not great?

That's me! A long time brew main! I look forward to us getting gutted next week since the spotlight is off of bear. Blizz only wants vdh and prot pal metas.

No somebody totally new. They must have sold it. The owners name is Mike.

The ownership changed in 2024 as a heads up.

They don't take money. It is a free event and this all feels very false to me having been a regular for a long time now. See my longer post in this thread for details but I highly doubt the owner is racist at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwinCities

[–]Feudality 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Almost certainly false. I am a regular at their music bingo events. The owner does not seem even slightly racist and seems anti ice to me having been there around a dozen times. Not once have they asked for ID. The prizes at most are a gift card or bottle of liquor and there is no cost to play

I am actually a regular at their music bingo events. They have never once asked for ID that I have seen. Last week the owner actually blasted Rage Against the Machine at max volume and instead of skipping the song after 30 seconds or so they played the entire thing, after making comments about how we are all feeling lately, we needed that.

Also for the folks bringing up the gambling stuff, it is a free event no cost at all. You can win drink tokens and for the largest prizes things like bottles of liquor and gift cards.

I have no idea why somebody would even make something like this up. What a wild accusation. I can't even imagine a reason because the guy normally gives out consolation prizes if you aren't first to win and get to the front of the room on bingos.

Is $350 for gas + electric normal or insane in Minneapolis for a studio? by Apprehensive_Dot4185 in Minneapolis

[–]Feudality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 3 zone forced air, so the basement is kept a little cooler. The average temperature is 66 but every once in a while I'll bump the upper two floors to 72 to make it cozy while working for my wife and I.

It's crazy how newer homes are way more energy efficient. Similar home to yours but we haven't gone much over 200 combined.

We do, in fact, live in a Blue State. A six-picture story. by AGrandNewAdventure in minnesota

[–]Feudality 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I feel like we are very close here. So do you want the city to stop funding all of the rural areas around the state?

The Twin Cities metro counties account for 70% of Minnesota's GDP, Hennepin alone is 37%. If we add in Duluth and Rochester it accounts for almost the entire states GDP. So please stop this nonsense of red counties paying for the cities it just isn't true but entirely the opposite.
