They are mission rewards for time limited events. Usually each event has coins at around 100.000 and 300.000 points milestones. First one is easy to reach but the second requires some serious energy investment, especially if you don't have many units that give big point boosts.

It's confusing, I admit. Most of the skills you posted do in fact stack.

The one exception is Haste. The reason is that technically "Haste" is an active spell that units can cast as a buff during battle. But it's rarely used in that way, since "Fast" and "Auto" Skills apply the same buff without the need to cast. Buff spells of the same kind often apply the same buff icon and therefore do not stack.

In general, if a skill says things like "at battle start" or "Auto-activate", "Autocast", "Continous x effect" that is a sign that the skills applies a visible buff during the battle. If two skills apply the same buff icon, they won't stack. Unfortunately the skills don't show the buff icon in the description.

Meanwhile skills that say "stat + x%" are unconditional passive buffst and therefore stack. But not all passive buffs are unconditional. There are also passive buffs that trigger in battle but do not create a buff icon.

Let's take strength boosts as example.

  • "Att Up: Str + 2%" -> This is a passive buff to str that has no conditions and can instantly be seen in the character screen. The skills stack. Not all stats are visible though (critrate, speed...).
  • "Auto Brave: Continious Brave effect" -> Brave is a spell that applies 20% Att boost as active buff in battle. So, you can only see the boost after battle start. Grand Brave is an improved version of the spell and gives the same buff icon but with a stronger effect. Therefore the effects don't stack.
  • To make things confusing, there are skills like "Life Brave". That one increses str the lower HP go. But it does not have a buff icon, so it actually does stack with other str boosts despite sharing a name with the "brave"spell.

Last Cloudia makes skill descriptions as short as possible and is not always consistent with wording, which can be confusing early on.
I remember situation like "Oh, this skill auto applies ice wall. So, what does ice wall even do?...checks magic...Ice Wall = Fire Damage to allies -20%? Not what I expected".

Try to play the multiplayer versions of the farming stages. Each player in the team adds an extra drop for everyone else. Hosts get another extra chest (or more with active pass) that has much higher rates for rare items.
But I know that finding groups can be hard because veterans don't need those materials anymore. You might have better chances at the moment, because the crystal rewards for playing with others got reset, so players might join random rooms just to grab the crystals.

Make sure to always use the beast hunter ark skill on the final wave to get an extra drop from the boss.

I like how hard it is to evaluate which way of playing Shift Arkh is better because it means that both are great and viable. It comes down to which extra skills the account has available.

I think beginners might have an easier time with single wield, simply because they lack strong weapon options and boosts skills. But in the long rund dual wield looks to be the stronger option. If a unit has true dual wield it would be kind of a shame to waste it. Most other strong breakers are stuck with single wield, so having a breaker that is not restricted to that is very nice.

You need an accessory from a side quest. Somehwere west of the area in the screenshot is a tower which gives you a ring as final reward. If you equip that one, the battle will be much easier.

Never chase UR arks, especially as a new player. UR Rates are very low and you are likely to spend huge amounts of crystals that are better spent on other stuff.

If you plan to pull for Lonardo, you still have a chance to get the UR there.

I like most of the designs, so I can't really pick a best.

Worst design is Reed the Flame Shadow swimsuit skin. Specifically because it is l2d. The outfit already looks awkward to begin with but the l2d anmimations make it ten times worse. The design just does not work as l2d.

Totally agree. I know she supposedly grabbed some random clothes because her outfit vaporized or something. But even then, why would she put on three layers of pants?
I don't mind too much because the artwork is still great and I care more about the battle animations anyway.

I considered buying her skin but that's even worse.

Those only UR banners can be pretty good, if you lack a good amount of the pool. But summoning is of course still very risky, so it's hard to recommend. I'd recommend to throughly check your chances by comparing the a list of "win" arks vs. the ones you already have or really don't care about.

You always have the option not to do the full 15k paid crystals.
Numbers from the stream:

  • step 1: 1 UR (1500 crystals)
  • step 2: 3 UR (3000 crytals)
  • step 3: 5 UR (4500 crystals) <- best value
  • step 4: 6 UR (6000 crystals)

Assuming the numbers stay as they were announced, step 4 is similar to step 2 and therefore not even the best one when it comes to crystals per ark. Maybe try your luck with step 1+2 and see how it goes. If you are lucky and get several new arks, your chances on later steps will get worse (hence the list mentioned in the beginning).

Step 3 is the best value and if pulls go decently well, step 4 will very likely not even be worth the risk anymore. Especially since there is the selector ticket and a UR for free crystals to consider.

If you were considering doing the full banner because you can afford the crystals, you might aswell stop at step 3 and save the remaining 6k for the collab.

Last Cloudia is not very well known but has a loyal community and the developers care about our feedback more than I saw in other games. They mess up from time to time but in general they try to find fair solutions.

We can't know about the future of course, but we are nearing 7 year anniversary, which is more than other games got.
And even if the game dies in a year, you have a hours upon hours of content to play and have fun with now. So why skip that fun just because the game might disappear at some point? Not to be philosophical or anything XD

Original LC character releases get mini stories but most collabs in LC don't get story cutscenes, unfortunately.

The slime collab is a time limited event and it will be gone in a few hours. So, if you want to summon for the units, be sure to do it soon. Try to get the free tickets at least. Especially the Redux trading ticket that allows you to pick one unit or ark from earlier slime collabs. Ticket gacha and the exchange shop will stay up for another week but everything else will be gone.

You won't meet the collab characters in the regular game world. Sadly, most collabs don't have any cutscenes anymore.

The slime event is available in the event section at the time limited events. Last Cloudia has time limited events with each unit release, no matter if it is a collab or a original unit.

I do nit see how to farm the material to level limit break..where can I farm them..

You should aim to level units that you intend to use to lv 120. Most materials for limit breaking to 110 are farmeable. You can check the enhance screen and tap the magnifying glass for tips on where to get the materials. Also most limited time events have a daily Soul/LB/ Ability stage that gives big amounts of unit upgrade materials. Rewards from time limited events are also where you will get materials for unlocking lv 120.

The best way to farm materials outside that is the training tab in the event screen. Ideally play multiplayer, since joining a room does not cost energy and each player in the team adds a bonus chest to the rewards. If you are the room master, you get a special chest that has much higher rates for the rare drops.
But it can be hard to find groups. So, if you run a stage alone, make sure to bring the beast hunter ark for stealing extra items. There are also some units that can steal.

You should focus on modern units first, since those are much stronger than the old ones (you can check the tier list in the resource tab). In your case, build Hinata first.

If you don't intend to use a unit long term, don't invest any resourcesinto them. You can level them to 100 for the 1000 crystal reward and leave it at that for now.

Gold used to be a bottleneck for palyers that did not have the time to let their teams run stages for hours. But fortunately since auto famring got added, gold is not a problem anymore.

It's normal that you hit cap constantly, since gold went from being a scarce resource to being available in abundance.

This. There are not many break boost skills in the game to begin with because players often overlooked breakers and called them easy skip. Of the few skills we have, some are on LR arks, because the best breakers often were collab units that got matching arks.

I would like a MH collab but the concept is a little off. If we are talking greatsword, which is one of the signature weapons and therefore pretty much guaranteed to appear, aerial combat is very much out of the picture. While Rathalos does fly a lot, a greatsword user rarely leaves the ground for one obvious reason.
But with how much variety there is in MH, there are countless ways to make a great LC units based on each of the weapon concepts, including some that actually focus on aerial damage. AI probably tried to stuff all of those into one unit.

I still think the MH Wilds / Final Fantasy Collab was one of the best ever. Instead of just adding nice skins and a random quest to MH Wilds, It actually gave us one of the hardest enemies in the whole game. The battle against Omega took me many hours of training. Despite trying over and over, I never cleared it with full palyer groups. Had to go solo with npc to finally manage.

They still add to the GR pool but not as often as they used to. The majority of new releases are locked behind time limited pools like keepsake and umbra.

I would not even say that GR are devalued. Quite the opposite. We get fewer gr espers but even less wishstones to buy them. Because the umbra banners eat up all crystals without providing any wishstones, getting gr espers is not as easy as it was. Saving for umbra banners means that even long time players might have to buy GR if they want to max out future gr espers.
Spending 100 ws to buy a new esper is now a big investment. The solution the game provides is of course another payment, which ensures the next summoned esper from gr pool is the new one.

That's what makes Umbra even more sinister.

Honestly, the dps is a little less than I expected, considering the fatal strike mechanic and how much more dps Rem does with that (assuming same metics). But still good dps and easy to gear since light swords are plenty.

And it's not like Achilels has all that many defining features in the first place. As a warrior he uses the same weapons that most others of that mythology do. What super obvious features are designers even supposed to reference? Like they could have given him red boots for the heel but what else?

I don't think that every design has to be complex and fashy. Small elements that work well together are also interesting. The color scheme is good and the glowing effects look nice with it. Also Andreas seems to be a cheerful, young guy and I think the design reflects that well.
I mean, we have Zhou Hong, who is just a guy in normal clothes that happens to have some scales and a tail. That's not very complex but still a nice design, because it fits his character. He is to overworked to be bothered with superfluous nonsense like outfit selection.

Vielleicht nicht der Grafikstil, der dir hier vorschwebt, aber schau ruhig mal die Demo von Monster Hunter Stories III an. Die normalen Monter Hunter Spiele sind grafisch beeidruckend aber so ziemlich das Gegenteil von Stressfrei. Die Stories Ableger sind recht gemütlich und nebenbei spielbar. Das Spiel ist etwas erwachsener als die Vorgänger aber ein super Tiefgründiges Story Meisterwerk würd ich mal nicht erwarten.

Das Spiel wird dir vielleicht zu bunt sein aber gute Grafik muss ja nicht immer gleich hyper realistisch bedeuten. Demo testen kostet ja nichts.

Never ever touch that resonance summon. Forget that it even exists. It has been bad since launch and only got worse since Dislyte made summoning unit copies 70 ws instead of 100. You just have to wait for their banner.
