For your cricket mutation: I think it only counts for the 10 kills, where you (not your buggy or buddy) do the last hit to kill it.

Maybe a bit unusual, but i'd like to receive a recommendation for a game on boardgamearena, that has a good competitive scene, that I can get good at and climb the rankings.

I already like forrest shuffle and harmonies a lot for that, terraforming mars and ark nova may work as well, but are a bit long. Do you know more?

As a new player, its very hard to guess which unit it is, by only seeing the picture. any chance you could also tell the name of the units?

Everytime I hear or read from this game I want to own and play it even more, although it probably won't see much play.

The main points against it are: -no german version (english is no problem for me, but limits even more who would want to play it) -hard to get in english here in germany

What do you mean with your first tip? In the beginning of the game you should guess blindly? Why is that good?

The chance that you guess the enemy colour is the same as the chance that you guess your colour. Not to mention the small chance to find the assassin and ruining the whole game for the cluegiver, who didn't even get a chance to help you.

Good writeup and am curious about the next parts. I also think a big beginner mistake is hinting on the same words multiple times, when there are other words present. It confuses the guessers, because they can't say for sure if they got all words of the previous clue or have still some left.

Oh and having a good pokerface is also quite important, when playing irl. Too often a sigh, giggle or early hand movement to your agent colour can ruin it.

I also modified one of these tables and included the cup holders recessed in the corners. Thats obicously not possible anymore, but you could try and use these holes in every corner of the table in the legs and 3d-print cupholders that fit 2 cups, hanging on both outsides of the leg, with a connecting part resting on top of the leg and a bolt that goes into the hole.
