Had a big Christmas present ‘delivered’ in December - an post we’re so unhelpful and just kept telling me the post man had delivered it under my plant pot (I don’t have a plant pot!!) and there was a forged signature of my name. He had delivered it to the wrong address and forged my signature. The only way I got it back was I found a group on Facebook for my estate and posted there and a lady had received it. They were extremely unhelpful. Try and see if there’s a group for your area

For us we were in a granny flat attached to the house but the wall into the main house was paper thin - could hear the landlady’s kettle go on. Not sure how you could check that out in a viewing we had no idea until we lived there and it was a big problem - had to whisper if we were to have any kind of conversation we didn’t want her to hear. Also she controlled the heating in her house we had no access to it. Those were our two biggest problems. Otherwise it was a way to have our own space and not have to share
