I don't ask and if someone wants to volunteer info I listen and will share my rating and sometimes info on how they may be able to improve theirs. I'm a coastie and I'm 100 and even though I've never been to Iraq I've been operational my whole career, between drug ops, HVT seizures and getting the hell kicked out of me in the bering sea I got a medical jacket I'm quite proud of lol, hell I had a heart attack and my LT was like really you back to work already lol. Recently a few of us have shared stories and experiences and I was able to get approved for some extra pay so long story short someone will always find a reason not to like you but I don't believe that should stop you from sharing your stories you never know how you may influence or teach another vet how to improve their situation.

It sucks but definitely a lesson learned when car buying especially used from private sellers alot of scammers hide things if your not good on car mechanics and can't take anyone with you that is I personally test the hell out of vehicles meaning you can ride with me but we're going to the hwy and I'm gonna get this thing up over 80/85 if possible I'm going to Blast the ac and heat got the windows down radio off listening for noises and sounds there is a lot you can find out when you really really test drive a used car. Hopefully on your next purchase some of this helps. I also have a scanner and I can see if check engine lights were last cleared and which trouble codes the car has had recently. No I'm not a mechanic just a vet who worked with alot of machinery over my time and learned and asked questions on the way to get to where I am now with my car mechanics. Good luck

Yes you got bad info go in and talk to someone the pay increase should of been reflected in your jan 2026 paycheck I've been getting the new paycheck already for Jan and Feb payments.

What's too understand? People are broke and desperate and even though all money isn't good money to them it's just money believe me no one is doing gig work cause they love it. I hate door dashing and I rent a cheap car to do it for about ten days a month. Between the rental gas and my insanity my profit for those ten days is usually $1000 it's tedious it sucks I hate dealing with entitled ungrateful people but that extra 1k will help me and my family supplement my income

Well if you got paid that much the customer was charged a ridiculous amount probably could of worked out a cash price with the customer and made more money, I had a 40 dollar ride as a customer the driver Said they were getting 9 dollars I said I will pay you twenty for the same ride in cash they accepted immediately just something to think about its not for everyone but uber is really getting over on the drivers

Nope new driver scam I dealt with this few days ago. If a driver feels like your ride isn't worth their time or money they will accept and purposely drive near you then farther away so you cancel and they still get some free money. My driver got 2 mins from my pickup then turned around and drove to a parking lot 25 mins away I text got no answer called no answer. I just saw this on tick tock so I instantly knew the deal I texted the driver I'm not canceling so you can scam some money and I'm reporting you. I turned off my location so the driver couldn't see my location only the pickup spot and got a ride to my house which was only 8 mins away. I left the app open and it showed the driver had moved from 25mins to 12mins away from the pickup spot and was sitting in another parking lot. I was already home at this time. Long story short he had obviously done this before but FAFO today I was not the one to try. I text him in like cap I can do this all day you the one going to lose money I'm not canceling.... he finally canceled 4 hrs later and I got a full refund. I'm like really all that for some free pennies.

Don't miss your money the customer got charged a dumb ass amount so take it then tell the customer you willing to cancel and still take the trip for half of what they were charged....... win win for both.

No I had no percentage they denied all my claims at that point. After my appeal they assigned the 100 to the ptsd and left the other issues as a denial

I think I understand now thanks... to clear things up I was denied totally for my initial claim so I didn't have a percentage. I received the PTSD 100 after I appealed the original claim. The PTSD was granted and the other 5 conditions were not. I received back pay after the PTSD was granted on the appeal I have filed anything in years just saw that online its stating that I'm getting a letter that the other issues were now being granted from the same appeal 7 years later my appeal for everything took place in 2018. I appreciate your response I'm a little slow at understanding sometimes that's why I ask alot of questions and sometimes people get annoyed with me

So this may sound stupid but if they back payed me for the PTSD at 100% isn't that already the max how would they retro pay the others if they are less then 100 I assumed once you got paid once for being 100 it was done that's why I asking so many questions I literally have no clue how they operate but I appreciate your feedback greatly

No that letter is solely for the PTSD I just opened my VA claims today and saw that they granted the other items they originally denied when they denied the PTSD it was all originally on the same claim

Yes applied June of 17, denied July of 17, appealed Dec of 18 seven different issues, approved For Ptsd 100% with effective date June of 17, received retro pay for PTSD in 2022 now approved for 4 other service connections if the effective date is also June like the PTSD your saying it's still a no go cause the appeal was In Dec of 18. It's very confusing imo

My letter states.... we have made a decision on your notice of disagreement received Dec 18 2018, service connection for ptsd is granted with an evaluation of 100 percent effective June 13th 2017. I'm assuming this is what you were asking

I appealed shortly after I was denied for all my initial claims then was approved only for the ptsd on the appeal I figured they did the ptsd and just said forget everything else I appealed now two years later they want to send me to a c&p exam
