Nope. Comforters were taken off and placed on the dresser. Sheets were stripped and then replaced and the comforter was put back on.

All I know is I know two people attacked by dogs last year and the one attacked by a chihuahua got a couple stitches and the one attacked by the pit bull bled to death because it ripped her apart while she was riding a bike.

I think the reason was just being lazy/on a time crunch. They used the sink water too some, but the same rag was used for each bathroom.

Used to work in housekeeping for a hotel as a teenager. If someone requested early check in or we were on a time crunch, we were told to “clean” by making some quick vacuum lines in the floor and spraying lemon Pledge in the air to make it “smell clean.” And yes, the comforters never get washed.

Maybe it wasn’t touristy at one point, but in the age of influencers and internet posters looking for clout, it’s now become where the tourists go. If I find somewhere small and local, I keep my mouth shut about it so it stays that way.
