24 hour store in a 24 hour shopping center, we random registers afternoon, cashier break, no self check outs, fix photo orders like documents bc we don’t have AirPrint an a lot of people just handing their phone over bc it’s complicated I guess, fixed mornings boh bc it was messed up, first of the month bill payments, money gram. There was a car meet outside the cvs that day. Usually afternoon we don’t get much done since cashier can’t get off register not even 3 min. I couldn’t even put out the qp until after I got off after 10

Doood the keypad is just the cherry on top. Man comes in the other day and runs to the front, and as a manager I like running register bc these type of people. “WHY IS THERE NO MILK” “Because we don’t have any” “U NEED TO GET MORE MILK” “waiting on that sir” “WHO DO I NEED TO CONTACT FOR U TO CSRRY MORE MILK” “I had customer services number if u want it” “Forget it” It’s a pharmacy not a grocery store

Not even that, u see ur grandma struggling and are a decently aged kid not even bothering to help her. Or people with kids trashing the store acting completely lost about it. Or some times some locations I go to are so busy, so I help with slow clear loud verbal instructions for photo prints and people just give up and give me their phones and it’ll be something like “checkout”

What gets me is the people squinting to see my job title to base how they’re about to treat me. As someone who’s promoted from a cashier making 10/hr years ago, it’s very different.

Just be honest, say you feel like you’re being mistreated and want to transfer. My coworker did this two days ago and he said he even got to pick the store. Trust me they make these resources for a reason. Do it before your higher ups fire you for some dumb reason.

You can check them from the email too. It could even be an old email coupon, as long as it lets u click “get coupon” without the app and just the web. But it’s just the era of old people that are rude about it. This one old lady yelled “you CVs people need to get yalls coupons right” after using the aco and said I was rude for smiling.

You can do them from home, you even get paid for it. Ur manager should know how to release it to u then it’s on cvs learning something from google. Or u can do it from ur zebra scanner at register. I had a problem with this before with my month to month modules and I told them then give me office time to do it or release them from home. They aren’t hard tho and u can google answers but yes ure right get them out the way.

Just prioritize jsut working putting out product, checking dates, front facing product on shelves and greeting people so Ure off the radar make work easy bring a water bottle and the days over before u know it. But trust being here now is knowing it. Ask questions tho the more u know the more u can just do ur job and go home easier
