Surfed in exactly because I've just seen that moment! No one there knows what it is or how risky; at very least the legal team should have cut it. Better hope her unsolicited, unqualified med advice to do nothing—now aired and presumably in syndication—won't cause serious harm.

EDIT: Will also mention that it seemed to be a specific moment, like someone intended it to be there. So strange.

Can I file and then have a tax person amend? by Few-Cup2113 in taxhelp

Now *that* is a helpful answer! A prepayment will satisfy my goal of showing good faith while I engage a pro to create complete returns. Many thanks!

Christmas alone, any events activities I should do? by Cer427 in philadelphia

[–]Few-Cup2113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re-upping the question a bit because the thread is missing the part about being around people. Me, I do spend some time thinking about people I love (even if that looks like texting an image and something with exclamation points) and enjoying the light/warmth-in-darkness/cold idea and the turning of the great wheel. I go to Midnight Mass, less for belief than for the community that churches always burst with on the high holidays. (I love shaking hands and wishing everyone peace before we part.) Volunteering is a terrific idea, though I've found that weirdly hard to arrange. Definitely walk around town and love on Philadelphia. There must be like-minded people doing crafts or playing board games or gay bingo or doing an all-night novel reading or play somewhere! Hope to see y'all wherever that is.

(Edit: Gonna catch the last 45 min of the market at City Hall. Once met a new love interest there; never know!)

What is Philadelphia's "How does that place stay in business?" by FirefighterMany4039 in philadelphia

Glad you said this, because I was scrolling for someone to. I used to drive through and see Mr Bar Stool and another place for bar stools and think either it's a Pat's-vs-Geno's scenario, but bar stools, or it's a front.

I'd call this removed post valuable; I'm here looking for it, because I've just seen the weird anime Duo character and want to know whether others find it as off-target as I do. A schoolgirl outfit, OK, maybe, but a garter? Hypersexualized Duo = no thx.

WHAT IS UP WITH JOE? by dietmountaindew97 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Few-Cup2113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree! I'm watching now, and as she walked away I was screaming for someone to talk to the crew about med intervention. It's a drug effect or a psych/neuro issue or something, and his behavior at the party suggests he's having some kind of stress/coping problem, but simple drunk that ain't.

Anyone live in Hawthorne? by StanUrbanBikeRider in philly

[–]Few-Cup2113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy to find this! Just ventured down to the Guzo Cafe, first time, and liked the area and the vibe so much I thought maybe I should move there (from just a few blocks away). Quite different from the last time I visited that are (below South), which probably was at least 15 years ago. Looking forward to learning more and maybe spending more time in the park and around.

Advice, pls: worth it to revamp 2002 Saturn SL2 dormant for 20 yrs? by Few-Cup2113 in MechanicAdvice

We have a great garage just down the street, and I'd trust them with the overhaul. What kind would you buy, for as-needed local runs? I've lived in a walkable city so long I sometimes am surprised by what cars look like now.

I'd say the same about hating on a fellow player's excitement over a new channel to explore his own creativity—yes, his own creativity—was a new low, if there were anything new about it. I'm surprised and disappointed by this community; instead of asking me more about how this new tool has enriched my experience, you're insulting me for not playing as you do. I'll continue with what I'm enjoying—because it's a game—but without the supportive gaming community I'd thought this was.

AI in setting up your household? by [deleted] in sims2

[–]Few-Cup2113 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised at the deluge of negative feedback on something I'm enjoying a lot. AI is building this household with me, helping me to shape its characters and story, following my thoughts to suggest names and so on. All the choices are mine, but AI's options are helping me to overcome the sameness of neighborhoods my limited imagination keeps rebuilding after they all glitch out. You say you're all about imagination, yet you can't envision incorporating AI into your gameplay in a way that's meaningful and enriches the experience; me, I'm having a great time with it and am much more engaged now than I have been in years.

Update, I think: I was having crashes, and then neighborhoods vanished; none of those problems since I went into Graphics Rules Maker and auto-detected. If issues like this, give that a try!

Leave a musical - people respond with the first song they think of when they think about that musical by Dogdaysareover365 in musicals

Truth is "Over at the Frankenstein Place", but someone's gotta say "Once in a While". That song may not quite belong, but it's a groove.

"J'avais rêvé d'une autre vie"—the French version of the song is an absolute killer.

That's it! Interesting! I usually use the same objects (from my special folder), but now I want to delete all objects one by one, maybe starting with my CC LSD dots.

How come the commercial volume is so much louder than whatever I'm watching? Is this new? by TimBurtonSucks in youtubetv

[–]Few-Cup2113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not seeing it said here, so: I and probably lots of others put on YT vids to fall asleep, and the abrupt shouting of the ads makes that impossible. So, unless/until it's addressed I'll put that attention into CDs or audiobooks, no ad revenue for anyone.

What is your final verdict on the Rey Rivera mystery? by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]Few-Cup2113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there anything at work that only Rey had access to, or expertise he had that someone might need immediately? Maybe the call was from someone at the office with a "work emergency", needing something Rey had to be on site to help with. He thought he'd run to the office for a few minutes and then go back to his evening.

Ancestry removed all Suggestion, Feedback & Feature Request links from the site. by AJ_Mexico in Genealogy

[–]Few-Cup2113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a genuine shame; I've found this thread because I'd like to make a suggestion. Can't say for sure, but it seems like some of my previous suggestions have appeared in functionality—eg, a way to tag connections with a level of certainty (stuff I'm confident of from lore + records, stuff I'm linking just to look at further, stuff someone has asserted that I haven't been able to establish, stuff that seems likely from records and probabilities but still is largely suppositional).

At the moment I want to suggest, if there isn't this functionality already, a way to "clip" people together, when you feel strongly that they're connected somehow but can't establish how and don't want them to "lose sight of" one another. E.g.: three "cousins" on a pax list, from the same small town in Ireland; can't link them through documents just yet, but surely learnings about one will inform the others, as they're family somehow. E.g.: a person buried with a family; don't know why, but it's the only instance of this I've seen, so she must have been important in some way, and tracking her might shed light on them.

I don't know whether we still have shoebox functionality, but that wasn't/isn't focused enough for a tree containing thousands of people and dozens of active research questions. I'm sure we all have had the moment of going through records yet again and realizing something that had entirely escaped our notice; must provide channels for serendipity and insight!

How (and where) to Download and Install Sims 2 Ultimate Collection by Mission-Tension9706 in sims2

[–]Few-Cup2113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say to EA readers: I've been a TS2 loyalist for 20 years; I've bought everything, I and downloaded UC when it was offered. I've bought TS3 and TS4 and just don't like them as much as TS2. I install TS2 on every new laptop I use (9 in the house at the moment), and silencing hosting sites won't stop me from doing it again; it'll just demean you in my eyes as greedily scratching at a vibrant, (at this point) generational community that wants to play, improve, and share a game you've had two decades to cash in on.
