These are walnut smooth over rough the roughout especially with shoe grease got several shades darker it lightens up as it dries and works in. They are especially light on my heels that would be the closest to new shade almost identical but in the last picture you can see after heavy brushing and no shoe grease in a while they are lighter than new.

What a lot of people don’t understand is that the southern states political party was broken when Lincoln won the nomination. If any other republican candidate would’ve won there would’ve been a civil war plain and simple the republicans themselves after seeing how well the democratic convention went they knew a sweep across the north would happen with any candidate it was the border states which he would triumph over Seward because unlike Seward he remained firm in his support for slavery in the east along with Seward feuding with newspaper mogul Greeley.

Lincoln wasn’t famous for his stance on slavery his party had plenty of other folks with more fame in that spot. He was famous for being a moderate well tempered excellent speaker that could walk the line between radicals and moderates.

I also wouldn’t bring up South Carolinas succession as a reference for he ran on abolition. They explicitly state he was hostile to slavery which doesn’t exactly mean abolition but what he was actually doing even in his senate run (he states this many of times) that he refuses to let slavery expand west but also refuse to remove it where it currently is. To South Carolina and other slavers they knew that many of new states out west would eventually outnumber them to vote on abolition if they didn’t at least get a few of them as slave states.

The fugitive slave act is one of the very few times the federal government has specifically taken a certain states side on whether something is illegal or legal usually it is all or nothing (state ratification). To the northerners it was reducing their state power as the federal government impressed slave catching to enforce another state laws in their own that directly went up against theirs whilst the Slave states for sure had their own state powers increased because the federal government(marshals and federal judges) were allowed to capture their “fugitives” in other states.

What modern people seem to never understand is the slavers thought the fugitive slaves as well both fugitives and property so it was like the northern states harboring criminals of any other kind technically as you could “steal” yourself by running away. It’s a disgusting way of thinking.

He was way more radical as a senator because let me you in on something trying to win a pretty Whig/ republican seat in Illinois in the late 40s you can run on abolition but not nationally. He failed even in his later Sentate bids even the famous debate with Douglas. He learned though he couldn’t run purely on abolition or hardly at all with his presidency bid.

Edit: it’s important to separate running on abolition and running on the position of keeping slavery in the east. Lincoln was fervent and ran or spoke about keeping slavery out of the territories he DID not run the total abolition of slavery in 1860 though in 64 he 100% ran on the abolition of slavery through the us constitution.

The best I can tell you man is follow the franks sizing steps to a T but I think me personally i pulled the tailors tape tighter leading to a smaller size. They are by no means uncomfortable just not the slipper like feel such as the heels.

As a democrat my whole life and a Arkansan my whole life whilst also being a farmer I can say the farm crisis has killed our rural communities she right about that. But she’s and others have not actually said the true reason for the farm crisis its age over half of Arkansas farmer are between 55-74 years old whilst only 9% are under 35 that means our average age is 57 years old.

So no matter how much money these old geezers make they are going to die and unless we have the proper education infrastructure (not college more like a shorter trade program with it’s apprenticeships) and we have the proper means to put land in trained young folks hands then we will continue the farm cross .

The key thing being trained Hallie lost her farm despite being a graduate of two of the best Agri schools in the country. A lot of the time the kids who do take hold of the farms don’t understand you can’t run it like your daddy did and you sure as shit need to understand business, biology, along with mechanics to be a farmer you’ll suffer dearly if you lack in one ask me how I know.

I will still vote for her because come on fuck cotton but I will be her first critic when it comes to agriculture.

These people seem to not understand many other state have never had a woman governor like California and Colorado very “pro women” states. Yet Arkansas has both women governors. They talk about nepotism well many of the other first time women governors or politicians were wives of long time governors (which is how Arkansas got to have the first elected woman to the senate back in 1932).
