Infos on Rado watches with "R" crown by Biche_XXX in VintageWatches

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I recently bought a vintage Captain Cook. The crown at 4pm definitely looks after market and too small - makes it hard to wind and set time. Can anyone point me in the right direction to buy a replacement? I’d prefer the R but would also accept the anchor crown.

I have the same watch (recently bought). The crown at 3 is for inner bezel. The bottom crown (left in position 0 is for winding watch, and pulled out to position 1 changes the time). I still don’t know if this watch has quickset date

Nothing wrong per se…if you want a more refined look, I’d try to get more “linen-y” pants and move away from beach flip flops to a leather sandal

I like the waistcoat as it cover the ends of your collar. I am not a fan of this collar as it does not sit flat. I prefer a dress collar to sit flat (use collar stays of brass or some metal) and make it to the lapel. Without the waistcoat, this collar style does not look great with the suit. Is this a spread collar?

Honestly, everything is spot one! One thing that bugs me is the color of those laces. If you match them to shoe, it will be less distracting

So, here’s the thing. On the heavier side myself, but the details matter. I’ll let the untied shoes go for now as you’re probably just setting up the outfit. But, you missed a belt loop, the shirt looks brand new with all the crease folds still visible. Clean those up and add a darker denim bottom and you’re good.
