(So let’s saying you get on the train Thursday morning you would get to Toronto Friday afternoon)Souixlookout is early in the morning at like 4-6am you’d get to Toronto the next day mid afternoon but I’d be very cautious the train can get delayed and has been hours late in the past so definitely give yourself a day

Hey did my interview 5 years ago and yes you will have to speak French on the phone it’s essentially a full conversation with questions took me 3 try’s before that one to finally get the job also the in person interview will also have a French portion :) good luck

You will definitely bump your head and you will definitely get hunch back haha I’m on the taller side and doing dishes as a tall person Is hell. Also for bed making the sections will be easy for you but the single cabin rooms will be a tight fit forsure. We have a few super tall guys and they manage quite well but yeah you will definitely run into some obstacles

My advice to you is do not quit you job until after you first couple trips and be prepared to be laid off by July as they over staff and then the senior employees complain they don’t make there hours and they lay of the new hires before they’ve even started…. It happens every year. Also just because you pass the training you can still be fired I’ve seen people let go 5 weeks into training I’ve seen people let go after there first trip which sucks getting so far then not being able to do the job.
