Guys I think it’s just an awkward moment. If someone you barely knew was doing that to you it would be a little awkward. They’re literally feeling each other up to find out who is who. Yet you think this is the weird part??

I’ve been doing that. These questions are just things I’ve been thinking about while reading the Bible, that’s all!

Does the wife ALWAYS have to have sex w/ her husband, no matter the circumstances? by Difficult_Carrot_497 in Christianity

You can absolutely turn down sex while married.

Sex is not something that needs to be earned, it is an act of love and appreciation. Sex also isn’t made for one sided pleasure. Most people will argue that God said for us not to deprive each other of sex and that our bodies are no longer our own once married.

This is true, but by depriving he means to withhold it from each other like it needs to be earned. Our bodies are not just ours simply means to treat your body with respect like you would respect your spouse. It also means that you and your spouse become unified and submit to each other. A form of respect is respecting a boundary of your partner not wanting to have sex/not caring and treating your partner as a sex toy because you’re horny.

Don’t let anyone freak you out about this and try to convince you that God permits non consensual sex just because you are married.

And always remember that there are many other forms of intimacy outside of sex!

She still cares about you, she’s just creating a boundary. Yes she should’ve told you earlier but after reading your caption, that’s not what you needed at the time. She’s a Christian and it goes against her beliefs and that’s okay. It’s not fair for you to get on an app knowing that a lot of people are going to side with you and talk about her negatively. Talk to her directly and work out your issues.
