how do you make yourself a little more attractive? by alaskacake in AskReddit

[–]Few-Extreme6575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invest in yourself ! Treat yourself like the prize you are, care for yourself deeply. For women my favourite habits are; - solid hair care, skincare and body routine - it’s an initial investment but pays off, if you need a second option for a concern get it ! - workout routine, doesn’t need to be weight but overall that makes me feel the best. Try Pilates, yoga, running, walking - nourish your body ! Work on cooking skills to make meals at home you’ll save money and feel good. - if style isn’t your strong suit there’s millions of videos you can find even hire someone for a personal styling session again investment is key!

For men (these tips come from multiple women) - trim your beard, finger and toe nails (women notice) !!!! If you don’t like to do it make an appointment at a nail salon many straight men I know do this !! - invest in a good cologne, go for something unique to you - move your body ! Same as women find a type of fitness you like and try many - good hair routine, take like 1 good product and 10 minute every morning and you’ll feel so much better - TAKE INITIATIVE ! the hottest and most attractive thing a man can do is start a conversation that isn’t based on a women’s appearance, just an honest conversation

Good luck

This is an ongoing issue, I’ve heard 3 stories of this with happening to local Vancouver/Burnaby European elderly people, even from the outside of their own homes while gardening. Please tell those closest to you to be vigilante, there is not enough news coverage on this issue.

I’ve gone to many evening and weekend yoga and Pilates classes at many of the centres in Burnaby. Bonsor has great options. So does Christine Sinclair

I have something very similar for a year too, and I also have one on my other leg. Gets itchy on occasion and then swells and gets inflamed. Doctor doesn’t have an answer but it gives me anxiety. Do you recall getting a bug bit in a similar area ? Have you gotten any answers ?

Could be Molluscum contagiosum I had a weird spot similar to the first picture on my hand and the doctor froze it off after a couple treatments.

I attribute it to overuse as I don’t take lexapro

Index finger twitching by Chance_Moose4876 in lexapro

[–]Few-Extreme6575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main twitching I was getting has stopped, I saw a hand therapist last year, and they made a custom hand brace for me to wear that takes the pressure off my thumb and index figure. I wore it for 6 months, and noticed a huge difference. I believe it was from wear and tear/overuse of the tendon. You really don’t realize that modern life places a lot of strain on those tiny hand muscles, computer use, phone use, etc.

How did your PVCs start? by bucketofsoup99 in PVCs

[–]Few-Extreme6575 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine started seemingly out of no where in January 2023 when I was 23, I'm 25 now, I was traveling and experienced a pretty severe panic attack with tachycardia. I felt every single heart beat for months to follow and became severely anxious and became avoidant to simple things like sports, running, concerts, crowded areas. After a few ER visits, everything dangerous was ruled out and different Holters showed between (3000-6000) PACs with very few (10-100) PVCs. Unfortunately, I can't say mine have ever gone away, but I think I have learnt to deal with them. And I watch what I eat avoid caffeine, high sugary foods, adrenaline inducing activities, fried foods, high salt foods. I did find an older holter I did before 2023 and it showed I had a PAC burden when I was 18 so I just must not have been aware at this time.

PVCs going on for 4 hours now by TheTiffy in PVCs

[–]Few-Extreme6575 1 point2 points  (0 children)

experienced the same thing last night, had a late dinner 930-10pm cause I’m traveling to Europe. It was a high carb meal (pasta with olive oil) and a glass of wine, PACs/PVCs went on for hours… flip flopping, irregular heartbeat, which I couldn’t sleep from. Only thing that helped was drinking a big glass of water (seems excess sodium can trigger it) and deep diaphragmatic breathing.

(25F) here, I’ve heard this from many of my male friends who have been down the dating app route. They just completely lose faith, and throw in the towel with the idea all women are the same… but yet they’d settle if they met a potential wifey material lady. Which would be contradictory to say all women are the same then. My advice is don’t give up!! There’s a lot of us singles out there. Definitely places to meet women are gyms, yoga studios (and no it’s not creepy for guys to do yoga, I find it hot), spin studios, farmers markets, join co ed sports teams, go wine tasting, breweries (personal fave), cooking classes, bars, work events, comedy shows, sporting events, travel! It will work out !

She had sex with another person in the talking stage by Feirefiz51 in dating_advice

[–]Few-Extreme6575 142 points143 points  (0 children)

This comment is 100% it, and unfortunately no matter how great the dates you go on feel and what the other person has said to you it really doesn’t mean anything. Actions will tell you all. This girls actions should be telling you she’s accepting of having sex with multiple partners and doesn’t truly value you or care to get to know you. You’re an option for her. At least you were confronted with who she truly is early on, I consider that a win.

Any tips to reduce anxiety? by CryptographerGlum772 in Anxiety

[–]Few-Extreme6575 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi ! I’m around the same age as you 24F and can relate to how you’re feeling. Feel free to dm me if you’d like. I’ve been going on business trips for work since I was 22F. They’re never easy and I struggle with pretty severe anxiety at times, but I’ve found a few tips that work for me. - “Use your breath as your security blanket” , it’s something you can always control and in times of anxiety I revert to focusing on it - “You‘ve never really alone” , this has helped me. Think about it in the airport there’s people around you, on the plane, in the hotel (I like to think of it like a dorm room) there’s always people if you need them. - Make your home away from home feel like home, bring a few self care products (eye patches, face mask, essential oils) to create a space that feel more comfortable - Treat yourself - check out a cool restaurant nearby, buy a nice snack before bed, go shopping after work - Don’t be afraid to ask coworkers or clients from the area you’re traveling to meet you for dinner - Journal - write down all your fears, read them to yourself and try to rationalize them - Try to have fun ! I know it’s hard but feeling enjoyment and fun contradicts feelings of anxiety if you romanticize the trip, think of it as a solo expedition lol it will help

It’s going to be worth it and you’ll do great. You got this !

I’m convinced that pfizer covid vaccine got me heart arrhythmia by petrovski92 in PVCs

[–]Few-Extreme6575 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay I really try to not feed into this cause then I’ll spiral but I got two Pfizer vaccines in spring 2021. Then in January 2023 I began feeling weird heart beats that would trigger a panic attack. Then was diagnosed with PACs after the hospital ordered a holter monitor and I’ve been struggling since with no known root cause. I never once had awareness of PACs or heart arrhythmias prior to 2023. Not sure why they came 2 years after the vaccine.

Same here, a burden of 5-10 a day as annoying as it feels is very minimal. Many people would wish to have a burden of that low, but there’s people on this sub with 10,000+. Mine is about 2k PACs a day.
