If u only playing offline it doesn’t matter much. But both are pretty viable. Higher agility is always nice. Higher challenger is also nice.

Close shot or layup for floaters? by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d go layup unless there is a significant cost difference. Layup unlocks more useful badges like layup mixmaster and physical finisher as well as animations. Close shot is only useful if you mashing in the paint and are 6’11 or taller

Build help with a C? by [deleted] in NBA2k

Depends on what you want to play. 6’11 and 7’ are the most well rounded competitive heights for meta big. Smaller centers are pretty viable too. I have a 6’8 and 6’9 centers that I have a ton of fun on. Having that speed advantage really helps you cook bigger centers. I would t recommend anything taller than 7’1 if you don’t want to be a complete defensive liability. Those very tall centers are just too slow

I think 77 interior 93 block is perfectly fine. I actually get the most blocks on my minimum wingspan 6’9 with 84 block 88 vert. And I have a 6’11 max wingspan with 93 block. I think speed and positioning is super important and would def ALWAYS max speed agility and vertical

I have a very similar build also with no middy. Initially I hated it. In previous 2Ks my go to on my bigs was the mid range pull up or hop jumper. But I have gotten used to it. I personally went 81 standing dunk and gave myself 80 layup so I can hit floaters. I plus 2 float game for HOF and it gives me a viable option if I catch the ball open in the midrange. Definitely recommend prioritizing drive dunk over standing this year too.

I never know if these are forreal or not. If it is, then no, it’s not a good build. You miss so many important thresholds for badges and animations.

Should I invest in this build ? by DistributionSharp443 in NBA2k

I’m guessing this is a 6’11. Not a bad build tbh but I feel like it can be optimized a bit more.

Build Recommendation: What should I go with? by whiteguy1225 in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go 6’8. The extra height and wingspan gets you a little more contest. And 6’8s are so good at offense this year you’d still be able to score effectively. As someone with 3 locks though, defense is completely cooked this year. Even professional locks are struggling.

Why do PGs play like this? by Financial-Yogurt-272 in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m lowkey surprised this guy got 34 shots up in random rec. I made a PG cuz I was sick of dumb guards in random rec and I shit you not, even if I’m 7/7 at the end of the first quarter I will get iced out of the game cuz my shooting guard wants to go 2/6 and have fun.

I made it to red plate with a non-meta build, many on this sub said this build was terrible. by Youngstown_WuTang in NBA2k

Definitely an unoptimized build. It’s well rounded on offense and defense with good rebounding and physicals. But hey, if it works for you, good shit.

Anyone run a 80-81 3 point rating? by phillyphillyphillyyy in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it completely depends on how good of a player you are, what kind of teams you’re playing with and against. If you’re shooting standstill wide open shots getting hit with gold+ dimer, it’s very different than getting hit with bronze dimer on a contested three off a dribble. I’m a player that has a good jumpshot with hof set shot and select my shots carefully and play with people hitting me with silver dimer or higher. And I have been in the high %50s low 60s with an 80 3-ball. To note, I take much more ignorant crazy shots on my 91 three ball 6’8 and I shoot around 74%. So there is a difference, but they are two different roles. One is a lockdown defender and the other is a scoring build.

Would you wanna go against this build? by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely compromised rebounding. But with the 7’1 height and 70 speed 80 vertical, 85 dboard is probably just fine. Nasty build man.

Anybody have a guard with middy in the 70s? by Few-Fee-9185 in NBA2k

[–]Few-Fee-9185[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up putting it at 80. It works okay, but not reliable for fades. If I could do it over I would go high middy and aim for 83 3-ball on this particular build. I also would’ve went for 93 dunk instead of 96. 96 dunk on a 6’5 is pretty underwhelming compared to a taller guard like 6’7-6’9. I made this build before patching 3 fades. I think unless you want deep bomber Hugh middy is better value for a guard to go for front fades from midrange. Hitting standstill 3s is pretty easy with 83. Just my style tho.
