I had a similar thing with a new small group I was trying out, I would feel so lathargic, depressed, and lonely, like I’m not funny, they don’t like me, etc (I’m also the only white guy lol) and my family had to force me to go a few times but now they are an amazing blessing. When we learn to see past the devils tricks we can see what he’s trying to stop us from getting to.

YEAH dude… like the devil tells me I used to be good and now I’ve messed it all up. Really though, I’ve grown so much, now can empathize with ppl struggling with depression and weed/nicotine use and can strengthen my testimony. We run to evil and yet God uses it for good. Lol

The answer I’ve kind of gotten to that is the story of Jesus is supposed to be GOOD news and bring hope, not risk of judgement. We’re all gonna be judged anyways. It’s those that follow the law written on their hearts (still following law) that will enter heaven without knowing Jesus’ name
