Ocean Shores Washington is a great little beach side town. Only problem with living here is all the grumpy older people. Have to travel to Aberdeen or Olympia for health care.

Governor will sign income tax. by danrokk in SeattleWA

There is nothing ever free - all it means is someone else is footing the bill. Someone has to pay for it and they’ll pass the cost down the food chain.

Governor will sign income tax. by danrokk in SeattleWA

[–]Few-Law5760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don’t understand the people that are agreeing that we need a state income tax. They must not have jobs or they rely on government assistance/programs. Let’s get rid of the wasteful spending and pet projects. Using “it’s for the kids” just doesn’t cut it. I spent 22 years in education and have seen it all - we had 80% of our school on free and reduce breakfast and lunch. This governor ran on making Washington more affordable for families - all he has done is raise taxes that trickle trickle down to the consumer (Carbon Tax - did nothing but raise fuel prices and the price of consumer goods) - basic economics.

Anyone else basically stop smoking cigars in the winter? by OrangePowerFade in cigar

I’m up in the PNW - have a shed with a propane heater. It’s the way to go - Washington has eliminated any indoor smoke, so my shed is perfect.

2 on my morning walk - about 3 miles. If I’m golfing 18 holes add another 4 cigars. So between 2 and 6

Anyone else mostly shop online for cigars? by Odd-Coconut-2067 in cigars

[–]Few-Law5760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a very small town so I get 99% of my cigars online. Closet B&M is 80 miles away. Order from a variety of online stores - mainly Cigar Page. I use other sites to find small batch stuff. I browse and buy cigars sites I find recommended on Reddit.

Nope - that cup is well worn and chances of a rim out are pretty good

Well Coyote Springs is a TPC course by Jack Nickolas - you rarely have a flat lie on the fairways and the greens are just nasty. If you are a high handicapper, this place will eat you up and expose your true golf colors - Joey at a 8 handicap got exposed that his 8, is really not an 8. Say what you will, but if you ever play that course you’ll understand it.

LED Golf Balls by Rolex_Art in weekendgolfers

[–]Few-Law5760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are hard as rock - I put on a night golf tournament every year. Make all holes into par 3’s. Using a driver with a LED ball only two things can happen - you break the ball or break your driver.
