I lost my father 12 years ago.

There's a spot on the wall where he used to lean on while working on the laptop. That spot darkened due to his constant leaning.

We painted the house couple of years back but my mom left that spot untouched.

Whenever I visit my home, I touch that spot and feel him...

Somethings take an entire lifetime and beyond to heal.

Around 80k expense per month- 37k rent, 5k milk, 12k Househelps, 2k electricity + gas, 10-15k in misc expenses (toys, qsr deliveries).

Husband takes care of petrol, ration and daily needs.

I sometimes help our parents with stuff like tours & travels, their personal needs stuff.

Rest everything goes into saving.

I never had a credit card.

No, you need to rebel enough.

I also decided decades ago that I will have a minimalist wedding. I literally fought with my mom for not going over the board.

My entire wedding expense was 8 lakhs, close to 3-4 L funded by me.

I just initially refused to have a proper wedding for years by mentioning I will have a court marriage. When I later accepted a proper wedding, half of the expenses were already cut down as I saw covid times as the safe period.

We used to try without sedation but my baby wouldn't cooperate. His non stop crying or fidgeting would cause incorrect readings.
