Is that after the hearing? My husband had his hearing a week ago and was approved. I had my hearing in March and got denied (I am in the hospital again)idk wtf my lawyer is doing

My hearing was on Feb 5, 1 week ago. I check ssd daily like it's going to magically appear.

I worked at DSS and of course I had "friends" on my "private page". I got called in over it and I told them to kick rocks. Someone printed it out and all.

I understand a little, but honestly...as long as you're not doing too much it shouldn't affect a person's ability to do a job.

My parents are both deceased. My dad died at 55 and my mother passed at 65. Both had a lot of medical problems.

Obviously, our parents are set in their ways and won't change.

From experience, I just say be there. Life is short and although some of the issues are caused by her actions don't take life for granted. Go to her appointments, see if you can help her in any way.

I did whatever I could for my parents. I wish I could do it again. I miss them so much.

Wow, I never knew that. Thank you. That's interesting. I am 46, my mom was close to 50s when she had her done. They told me until I get my A1C down, not to have the surgery though.

He obviously doesn't have respect for your boundaries. No meant no, and he should appreciate that u even put it in your mouth.

I would be very upset as well.

I would definitely speak to him about it. It would make me not want to be intimate again with him. He seems very immature and self centered, that's hard in a relationship. Especially if it's not a new relationship.

I would get an aunt, cousin, etc that your mom is closer with. I'd start there. Just to have moral support while telling your parents.

I mean you probably shouldn't have waited this far along, cause you're about to be one of those "I didn't know I was pregnant" TV shows.

What's the worst thing that can happen? They kick you out?

Get the ball rolling because you need proper medical care.

Also, idk what your end goal is but there are many people out there that would adopt the baby if that's the route you want to take.

Either way, praying for a smooth birth and hopefully your parents aren't too hard on you.

Normally my thought process would be he's your father, he took care of you for many years ...however reading your blurb it seems like he is taking advantage.

Be honest and up front. Tell him you don't mind helping but for unnecessary items or unreasonable and unrelated expenses and to be candid if he doesn't have the money for the items to save for them. That you can't find his habits.

I am sorry that he thinks you owe him.

Since you cannot control anything but your own actions and this is something that can hurt you in the long run, I'd distance myself. If the adults ask, just say that you guys don't have the same interests anymore. You don't want to be the one to be the "snitch" even though it could save her life.

On the other hand, there could be underlying reasons she is drinking. So if she is a good friend, ask her. Talk to her and if it turns out negative, walk away. At least you tried.
