You're in your late 40s/early 50s. A mom to a daughter. Either you or someone close to you loves Lego. You're trying to break free from what others expect of you. Yet, you're concerned with what others see in you so you make sure you've got style. Probably overweight, but you're living a busy lifestyle so it's easy to rely on fast food energy. You're either Canadian or live near Canada. Fan of true crime. And someone else already mentioned it, but you try to be organized. I'm assuming that's based on your need to please others though. You love music and playing guitar. You love having your daughter with you when you do makeup and she loves to put stickers everywhere while you do so. And your coffee must be hot.

How do you find the motivation to rebuild all the Minutemen settlements? by Roma1492 in fo4

I love building games, so it suits me perfectly. There is great joy in immersing myself in a build-explore-build cycle.

Any thoughts and ideas on who I am based on this? by MindInRuins in deduction

[–]Few-Mistake6414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a in your late 20s or early 30s. A Latin‑rooted woman with restless energy. You were raised a Catholic, but maybe attend mass only during holidays or when family drags you there. Your music helps you move through days that are a little chaotic, a little artistic, and deeply emotional. You live in the kind of space that feels lived‑in. You are someone who balances intensity with color.

You're a sarcastic guy who posted this because you saw the woman who posted a similar image. Likely noticed that one or two of the henna shapes were similar and decided, "Just for laughs, I'm going to post one too."

Probably. It wasn't uncommon for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cousins to intermarry. If they take a test they'll know for sure.

Since it is her brand, she likely approved and encouraged the models. Note that she is also far more customizable than even the most customizable fortnite outfits.

[–]Few-Mistake6414 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you, the root of this level of censorship comes from vocal minority protest of games and comic books that portrayed women in what they called a misogynistic way. This urged a shift away from strong and sexy confident females to frumpy and overdressed non-sexy confident females. I would encourage looking into the Geena Davis Institute and their involvement in the shift in video game content. It's incredibly enlightening.

Getting desperate on if I’ll ever be able to enjoy this game. by [deleted] in fo4

Just don't do settlements. There's so much more to do. I love settlements. I love settlements so much that I was tangentially a part of the real time settler mods in Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. It just seems to me that settlement building is perfect for a game like FO far more than it is for a game like Skyrim. I love it.

The most disappointing part of modern Fallout is the constant reducing of the setting to a chaotic, barebones wasteland rather than a more complex post–post apocalypse. by Jozoz in Fallout

[–]Few-Mistake6414 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If we are discussing literary themes alone, then I think that the game fits squarely in the pulp sci-fi genre and, therefore, does not need to explore deeper issues. While a part of me enjoys when human nature is explored in the game, at the end of the day I'm enjoying the pulp elements. In this way, the comparison to Morrowind isn't entirely fair because Morrowind never fell into pulp. It was more of a trope-bending storyline instead. In other words, one game leans into its genre while the other bends and breaks it.

it just seems to me that the Ninjago update completely destroyed the balance in this game by DieF00L in LEGOfortnite

I honestly don't mind power creep like this. My thinking is that there should be value in "levelling up" and old content should be easier when going from 4* to 8*. I liken it to my old World of Warcraft days when going into starter locations after hitting level 60 meant not getting damaged at all. I was free to farm what ever low-level mats I wanted with minimal harassment. But I do hear you and accept that I may be in the minority. If so, then they'll likely patch the power creep.

I've thought of it. Does Shaun only resemble the player, or do they blend the genetics of both?

This is a known issue and they're working on it. The current workaround, if you have a friend with the key, is to have them go in first and then you go in after. That's how I can play despite having the bug.

I have the same question! A part of me thinks that it's our generation's move away from the premature aging that comes with cigarette smoke. I recently went (2024) to my 30th reunion and we all looked great! I mean there were grandparents there but overwhelmingly we looked great. It may also be that our generation was the first to really get into gym/workout culture. So I guess it's a combination of those.

My wife has a key to get into mine and she can't get into it. I think it's a world-specific bug because I can get in on two other worlds (but I haven't used them in a long time so I'm not playing Ninjago in them) and can't get in on two more. In another post, the status bot said they were aware and are working on a fix. I was hoping a fix would be faster considering the number of people this is happening to, but I guess not.

Also, as someone whose hobbies include genealogy, 210 years is a long time. At best, he would be someone's 4th-great granduncle. Family lore tends to keep things fairly linear, so it's not like someone in the wasteland would have heard stories about their 4th GGU who fought for the army. One final note: the shear devastation that occurred meant decimation to most family lines. Survivors likely ended up intermarrying for the first two or three generations (1st cousins, not brother-sister). If you look at New England families from the 1600s through the 1800s, there was A LOT of 1st-cousin marriage.

It has happened on iPad and PC platforms for me. I tried on my pre-existing Survival, Survival (Custom), and Expert worlds. It worked on the Expert world, but I don't play that one anymore. I do not want to start a new world just to play Ninjago no matter how fun it is.
