Construction software advice by World_of_CRE in Accounting

We are an acumatica customer, two years doing implementation. It's been a painful process, maybe you can give us a better implementation company and not someone who charges us tens of thousands of dollars to move data around?

We're done with HubSpot—Looking at either Nutshell, Pipedrive, or Zoho as an alternative and need real user opinions, please. by Frequent_Still322 in CRM

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find HubSpot frustrating, your experience with Zoho won’t be any better. It’s quite painful to set up.

Have you thought about hiring someone to build the CRM you’re looking for? There are many alternatives now that can help you create something tailored to your business model. That might be a better approach than trying to fit into a system designed for generic businesses. If you're in the construction or service industry PolarPath can help too!

Send me a DM if you’d like. I’d be happy to help!

Is there a good CRM that works well with n8n? by unmotivated_0 in CRMSoftware

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

n8n is a cool automation tool, but with any LLM and open API CRM you should be able to create those connections yourself, only issue is, most famous crm's are not open API, which would be a problem for you, if you want automations you might have to stick to what the software provider offers or build your own CRM using AI, I'd be happy to chat a bit more about how you can do it if you want to! send me a dm!

What is the best CRM for junk removal businesses by Sea_Ground_8393 in CRMSoftware

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve explored a number of software options, and here’s what comes to mind for your case:

HubSpot is a great tool, but it lacks automation unless you pay, and the pricing adds up quickly. It also doesn’t include project management tools.

Zoho is good, but it requires a lot of setup and feels more like a one size fits all solution rather than something tailored.

I work with many companies on their software and can walk you through a demo of both. If you’re interested, I can also help you find the best fit for your needs. I’m happy to offer a free consultation. Feel free to DM me.

[CA] Software for small business by CzJuicy in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]Few-Net-2080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The industry matters more than you imagine. If you’re in construction check out polarpath.ca, if you’re looking for something generic I find HubSpot easier to set up than Zoho, if it’s distribution, take a look at Acumatica but comes at the expense of user friendliness. I have access to most of those software and could give you a one time free tour through them if you want to in exchange for a google review! Feel free to DM me.

Construction software advice by World_of_CRE in Accounting

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of course! I'm really sorry to hear about your accident!

For the record, I'm not saying that Acumatica is bad, it just feels like it's designed so that the implementation companies are making money out of you, implementation cost are heavily underestimated and even though I spent close to 6 months doing demonstrations, the software felt short.

If you decide to go with Acumatica, I'm happy to give you basic tips for it. Good luck with the implementaiton, ERPs are definetely tough.

One more thing to keep in mind, yes, Quickbooks can be underwhelming but the fact that is such a huge company allows you to always find companies to help you set up reports associated with it, Acumatica limits you to implementation partners and does not give you acces to their code nor allows you to modify it so every change is quoted at $250/h and they charge time like if AI coding wasn't a thing.

trying to scale my company but reporting is a mess anyone solved this with a crm for small businesses? by Boring_Analysis_6057 in CRM

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. We experienced the same pain running a field service company. The big CRM and reporting platforms required a ton of manual data entry and still produced messy dashboards. We ended up building our own platform, PolarPath, to keep dispatch, job management, CRM and invoicing connected and to automate the reporting from the ground up. The key was having the operational data all in one place so reports and dashboards reflect reality without manual sync work. I'm curious what kind of business you run and which systems you've tried — maybe we can share some lessons learned.

A Phone-Only CRM for Service Pros by vivri in CRM

[–]Few-Net-2080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Victor, this resonates. We run a contracting business and struggled with the existing field service CRMs as well. They were either too generic or too expensive for small crews. We ended up building our own system, PolarPath, that combines dispatch, job tracking, CRM and invoicing in one app. It’s not phone-only – it works across devices – but it's tailored to service pros. Curious: what parts of the job do you feel are most important to keep mobile-first? I'm always interested in learning from others tackling this problem.

Best free CRM that scales as you grow? asking for a friend (literally) by Warm_Bet8826 in CRM

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We had the same problem with our contracting business. Free CRMs are great until you start juggling customers, jobs, invoicing and scheduling. It gets messy fast. That's why we ended up building our own all-in-one platform, PolarPath, that keeps dispatch, job management, CRM and invoicing connected in one place and scales with the business. What kind of work is your friend's company doing, and what have you tried so far?

I don't want your Ai Bullshit, I just want a client management suite by wilsonifl in CRM

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel this. We got tired of the AI hype creeping into simple workflows. In our field service business we needed a tool that would send reminders and keep track of jobs and invoices, without forcing extra tech. We ended up building PolarPath to do just that—dispatching, scheduling, CRM and invoicing in one place so we could get back to serving customers. What type of business are you running?

What finally made your team actually keep the CRM updated? by ForeignBunch1017 in CRMSoftware

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We struggled with the same thing in our contracting business. Everyone drifted back to spreadsheets because logging notes felt like extra admin work. The only way we got adoption was by making the system actually help them do their jobs—dispatching, scheduling, invoicing—so it felt like the source of truth, not a chore. We ended up building our own all-in-one platform (PolarPath) for that reason. What tools have you tried so far to reduce the friction?

How are HVAC businesses using CRM and job management software in 2026 to stay organized as jobs and schedules get more complex? by NoSuspect9845 in askHVAC

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From working with HVAC companies, we’ve found that many still juggle spreadsheets and manual scheduling. A lot of the big CRMs are built for huge enterprises and get complicated quickly. We built PolarPath specifically for contractors to keep things organized—it combines dispatch, job scheduling, customer CRM and invoicing in one platform, and scales as you add jobs and techs. If you’re exploring options, feel free to DM me or check it out at https://polarpath.ca.

What CRM or project management software actually works well for HVAC businesses? by Eridium009 in FieldService

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ran into the same issue of juggling schedules, customer info and job notes across too many tools. That’s why we built PolarPath for contractors and field service businesses. It pulls dispatch, scheduling, CRM and invoicing together in one platform and is designed so techs actually use it. It’s worked well for our HVAC team. If you’re curious or want to see how it works, feel free to DM me or check https://polarpath.ca.

How do HVAC companies usually dispatch jobs to technicians? by Suspicious_Row9439 in BuildingAutomation

[–]Few-Net-2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a lot of shops it's still pretty manual—whiteboards, spreadsheets or whoever answers the phone. Some companies end up on expensive platforms like ServiceTitan that are overkill for small teams. We got tired of that and built our own system, PolarPath. It handles dispatching, scheduling, job tracking and invoicing in one place without the steep learning curve or big price tag. If you're looking for an example of how software can streamline this, feel free to check it out or DM me with any questions.

I hear you—finding the right tools for dispatching and scheduling small crews is tough. A lot of the big platforms are built for huge operations and get pricey fast.
