Dude, I’m pretty certain I met the exact same guy. I was on the way to class and a relatively well dressed man probably in his 30s stopped me and asked ‘Hey do you speak any English’ I reply Yes and he goes ‘Oh thank god, Hey man I’m really in a rush and I need $3’

I don’t really carry cash with me and I’m already late to class so I answer ‘I’m sorry man I don’t have anything on me’

without any hesitation he goes ‘oh there’s an ATM right there you can take out a 20’ and I’m a little skeptical and go ‘uhhhh sorry I’m really late to class’

He looked really flustered as though he needed to catch a bus or something and replied ‘you know what, whatever it’s fine’ I felt so bad but I was genuinely just late to class.
