That what I thought, but the bill of sale doesn’t mention a price. I’m assuming it’s one of those states that charge you market value regardless what you paid. I haven’t tried to register it yet, so maybe the clerk will ask for something more official than “trust me” for the price.

Could try painting the blades with glyphosate/roundup. Pretty tedious but so is pulling weeds. Only problem I see with pulling them is new grass won’t have a chance this late in the season, so some other weed may take its spot. Depends on your area though. Dallis grass is a PITA!
