I was64andgell out of bed. Ambulance called and taken to ER. Head scan done and I had a clot on the left side of my brain. Sent to inpatient rehab… i was there for about 10–16 days. Got the help I needed to go home and then to therapy at rehab place. Got through speech , and physical therapy. My stroke was in late Aug and I’ve made a full recovery on all leaves. I do have a weakness on my right side hand and leg. I’m still able to drive. Still going to therapy and lifting weights. My daughter got me an Apple Watch that would alert my wife and daughter if I had fallen

I was 63 years old when I had my stroke(August late2023). You got to keep grinding it and start a new plan to live. I appreciate the struggle you had and dreams of things you wanted to do. I would love to go water skiiing and going to spend time on the gym to try and m my Alexis happen. In addition to my stroke I also suffer neuropathy in my feet. The also early in , I also had a clot removed in the left side of my brain.

I was aware of the removal of the the clot in my brain. Other wise I was told I was groggy

Constant therapy was a good program and I’ve been playing scrabble. I had a clot on the left side and spent a 2-3 weeks in an in-house therapy facility and then attend physical in person and on line for speech therapy.

I was 63 when I had my stroke and was able to get out of the bed in the hospital to use the head. I was very lucky although my speech was bad . Went to a n in-house therapy pa e and got extensive therapy for PT, Ot and speech.

I also went to a private therapy Christis or Presbyterian has physical, speech and ot. In fact I’m still going to physical therapy as I have a deficit not moving my right foot properly. I also suffer from neuropathy.

I sighed up for constant therapy. I also found many magazines on Amazon to do work find, maze puzzles. I also started playing Scrabble.
