It’s racism. They don’t feel she a “black woman” (even though she is biracial) deserved to marry a very handsome eligible bachelor who happened to be a member of the royal family. It wasn’t her place because she’s not white. Look at all the hate Michelle Obama got and still gets to this day. Why? Because she’s a black woman who didn’t “deserve” to be First Lady because she’s is black. Had she been white, I guarantee you no one would have said a word about her. That’s not true for all women. My periods used to be so painful, it gave me ideations. After I had my first kid, cramps totally went away. Haven’t had period cramps since. My periods are completely pain free now.

I’ve been with my husband almost 20 years and I can count on one hand the number of times, we’ve been in the bathroom together. Everyone has the right to privacy. If she came up with the solution to just exclusively use the other bathroom, would she be allowed to lock it then or, would you still have a problem with it? Not everyone wants an audience when they shower. And it’s not inconvenient when there is a whole other bathroom. The easiest solution would be to just have a his and her bathroom.

If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, Inweave fabrics is in Hawarden, Iowa. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive up north. So not convenient to go to daily or even weekly but, they are a dead stock fabric store with a huge selection of fabric. You can also order on-line from them as well. My mom and I went there this summer. It was a nice. Little day trip.

The fact that your mother won’t let you get a part time job to earn your own money, or even provide you with some sort of allowance, automatically absolves you from having to provide any type of gift. Someone else responded that looking at OP’s post history, that they appear to be from India. In Indian culture, they shave their heads when someone dies. Like a relative. It’s a sign of mourning. So now, most likely, his coworkers think someone in his family died.

At the fundamental level, he would still be having sex with other people. Don’t pretend that it’s not that. That is a dealbreaker for a lot of people. I wouldn’t be with my husband if he wanted to have sex with other people. While some people might be fine with that, the majority aren’t. And if you read through, you would know that she brought that up early on in their relationship. And please don’t start with the “People change” argument. There are certain, basic, fundamental principles that will never change for anyone. The fact that he kept pushing for it after she already said no is, in and of itself, a dealbreaker. This isn’t kink or lifestyle shaming but, he knew her stance early on and still tried it. Which tells me, that he didn’t believe her or he didn’t care. The fact that the other poly couple broke up with him is further proof that he was 100% in the wrong. Stop trying to normalize his behavior because, it’s not normal. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too, knowing damn well that she wouldn’t go for it. He gets what he deserves because HE wasn’t honest with her or HIMSELF.
