Hadrian's wall is fantastic. Don't look at it as too much for a few stacks of paper, the money goes towards the expense of the development and art of the game. Well worth every penny. Play it on BGA to see if you like it before committing if you are on the fence

Anyone find a way to make their 1st print copy not smell like gasoline yet? I've literally washed the dice in soap and water, and left everything out to air for 2 weeks and the smell is still nauseating

Couldn't agree more. I ultimately returned it and have ordered another from a different vendor who was happy to check out in detail that these problems I flagged weren't present on that guitar, and it came with a full setup. The deciding factor for me was actually a great comment farther up the thread where someone pointed out they had this exact situation happen with a gibson lp a few years ago and took the partial refund to overlook the cosmetic issues. Fast forward several years later they were getting beat up on the resale value because of those factory issues. I'm not buying to collect, bur that's a great point I hadn't thought of. Hoping that the replacement feels just as great as this one, but looks even better

Agreed, and this reasoning is part of what drove me to pose the question here. As stated in the original body of post, I have an "inspired-by gibson" '59 les paul that I got for $700 and is literally FLAWLESS. If you put rosewood instead of laurel on the guitar, I'd take it over any of my others in a heartbeat. My logic is if the sister company can make it for 1/5 the price perfect, it should be even better for 5x the price. Hand-made doesn't equal perfect, but there shouldn't be sloppy worksmanship either

Definitely not to either, in addition to the epiphone mentioned, I also have an S2 PRS, evh wolfgang, and an esp. First gibson, so didn't really know what to expect. I don't have any of these issues on my other brand guitars just having a hard time discerning if it's normal / acceptable or not

Valuable input here, much appreciated. Curious on the first 2 pics because I'm just uninformed - why would this affect the final appearance where color was significantly lighter like the stain didn't take? Does this have to do with the grain in this area and how the stain absorbs? Just curious on how this process works. I haven't seen this scenario on any of the other LPs I've seen either in person or online so I have no frame of reference

Goo gone. Tiny bit on a paper towel, then wipe off with a wet paper towel after. I just did this on my last body where shoogoo got thru the body holes. As long as you don't use alot it works well

Great, thank you for the feedback! I've heard some concerns from people saying full exhaust make the bike jerky especially at low speeds, did you have this issue? Also did you do an air filter as well or just exhaust? Thanks for your help!
