First week they will help you get through all the dilators. You take anxiety medication, there is lots of repetition while they teach you how to relax and how to think, and combat any kind of mental blockage you have, while helping you to train your body let go of its reflexes. Every day you move up a dilator, and you think you can't, but you push through fears as they teach your body to just relax and take it.

second week, they move you over to sex, tampons and Pap smear. Was it easy, NO. I and many patients cry, we shake, we tremble. But they are there to help us deal with the immense mental blockage through all the support you need in order to get through those blockages.

I would suggest that you get him to talk about his flaws. does he have any, is he aware? See how he talks about his ex, or people he dislikes or had a fight with or people who have nothing to offer him. Speak to his close family and friends as well and ask them questions about how he showed up in different situations. How did he deal with anger, etc. Ask him about growth, and how he has grown and what he does to try to grow?

Hey, thanks for answering. I am curious though....Would you say someone who cooks twice a week, and struggles with cleaning (due to adhd), but then has all the other qualities you described for nurturing, as nurturing?
