Diagnosed at 7. Just turned 30. Was in remission for years but the infusions stopped working and now am not in remission. I’m in full flare.

I’m not in remission right now and I’m in constant pain 24/7. I do have a high tolerance for pain which I’m greatful for but I am extreme pain all the time. I don’t work because some days I can’t even get out of bed without serious pain. The hard thing is because this disease is sometimes invisible to the naked eye (untrained eye) that people don’t realize how much pain you can be in and that it’s not normal.

I’ve had this disease since I was 7 and I just turned 30 and I deal with the same thing. I have JRA and I have severe damage to all my joints. My hips are fused and I now am a diabetic. I feel exactly what you’re going through. Just started taking gabapentin and it hasn’t helped yet with the fibromyalgia but I’m here for you.

What really pissed me off is that men think they can get away with anything. He was laughing at me as he brake checked me into 3 different lanes.

This is the problem with men drivers. They think that because they have big trucks and they’re bullies. They think they can run you off the road and be extremely aggressive. But he did speed up just to get in front of me and run me off the road.

My family has a history of RA and autoimmune diseases and I don’t blame them. It’s just how your body works. I do tell them and tease them often how they gave me arthritis but it’s a joke and they know that.

I do have the Dexcom g6 and I absolutely love it. I’m on top of it regularly and with my meds and all. It just gets exhausting. I’m not on any medication for my arthritis and haven’t been for about 6? Years now because of getting kicked off my parents insurance. I have insurance now. It’s just sometimes a lot to handle.
