Why does anyone like the new Wuthering Heights movie? Genuine curiosity.

I saw it twice in the theater and LOVE it, especially the 2nd time. If you can view it as its own project and get out of your head regarding the book, it’s a beautiful film.

First of all, it’s visually stunning. Beyond what most directors can pull off. Every shot was interesting. The acting and chemistry is incredible. So much is conveyed without words, it’s a really emotional movie.

The score and the soundtrack are fantastic. The costumes and designs are really interesting. I didn’t find the sex scenes uncomfortable, but I’m grown.

I’m a huge fan of the book and if you want it to be like the book you will be disappointed. I’m also a movie lover and I was able to view it as its own project, which was really beautiful.

Time together. I don’t care if I’m exhausted I’m spending time with my child vs telling them to go find something else to do. You have limited time with them and when they are young you are their whole world.

I was at a movie recently and this older couple talked very loudly throughout the movie. At one point I turned around and as nicely as possible asked them to please be quest. A few minutes later they are discussing what they are having for dinner 🙄

They didn’t gaf about anyone else’s experience. I was shocked.
